Just in case anyone's counting, I do NOT want Bradley. Never have, never will. If he was ever able to produce at a high level for at least 2-3 seasons AND played in 150+ games, I would then consider lightening my opinion of him. As it stands now, the guy can't stay healthy and can barely stay out of jail. Let him go to Toronto or Oakland or anywhere else but the northside of Chicago.
The way things are going, the Dodgers just may have a lottery to decide who gets to play where. Furcal, Izturis, Mueller, Kent, Choi, Guzman, Perez, Walker (?)
Believing something posted on an ESPN message board will get you nowhere in a hurry. Unless many actually heard XM report this, I'm guessing there is not a lot of truth there. Well, it was posted by an Orioles fan at the O's board at least. I also would like to hear corroboration though. Same here. I'd piddle myself if Hendry made a push unless Prior or Z were offered.

Ah, perception is a wonderful thing. A quick glance at the subject right before I clicked on another link, and I started thinking "why in the world would CNN trade Larry King for a Big pie and airline miles?"
How much cash is Boston picking up in this? Marte? I thought they were really high on this kid. :? Chipper Freaking Jones. Oh well, at least Marte won't be our problem from now on...to the AL he goes. I'm trying to find the article, but I read somewhere last week that he went from being BA's #1 overall prospect to being #4 in the Braves system within a few months.
Exactly. The Nats feel as though Vidro will either not play again or never play well enough to be a regular. It doesn't help that he refused to have his knee operated on and then agreed to play in the WBC.
Since nobody else wants the honors and Hendry has confirmed the trade... The Cubs have acquired Juan Pierre in exchange for Sergio Mitre, Ricky Nolasco, and Renyel Pinto. Link
I'd kill to be in your shoes right now, BTW. You still have money to spend and you've signed Pierre, Howry, and Eyre and re-signed Perez and Rusch. We've signed a backup catcher in Bennett and a backup utility guy in Cruz. Rumor has it we also have only 10 mil left to sign a 2nd baseman, LF, RF, and a fully retooled bullpen. Cry me a river. Don't forget Mabry...
