It still cracks me up that this argument keeps popping up now even though Neifi will make the same next year that he made in 2005. He was vastly overpaid this past season, but I don't recall anyone saying anything about it... -

I pull the trigger if it costs Williams & Hill. Prior and Zambrano are my 2 untouchables on this team. If they remain healthy, they have the potential to become 2 of the top starters in all of baseball.

At this point, I'm not on the Jim Hendry BandWGN still, but I'm not ready to jump on the hate Hendry BandWGN. I'm just gonna keep hoping at this point. Mayube some praying too. Wait, I've been bamboozled. According to your avatar, Zito is now a Cub. Can we still make Hill comparisons? :D

If he pitched in bizarro world, maybe. Only kidding, of course. Shawn Estes or Barry Zito, either way Hendry has an unhealthy obsession with keeping him.

Now that you did it though its ok and I'll join in. mmmmmmm Cheetos Whats that? Hill is untouchable? :x Maybe that's why I'm gaining weight -- eating Cheetos while sitting on my butt at midnight... Anywho, is Hendry trying to make Hill sound more impressive to increase his trade value, or do you think he actually believes he's more than the next Shawn Estes?

With as poorly as he has played (lowest QB rating in the league), I don't think he'll get a chance to participate in the next four. He actually seems, to me, to be getting worse as he gains experience. -
No way in hell they go 7/84 with Damon. My good God, I hope not.

Maybe he's afraid to take on a reclamation project. Say what you will about Pierre but he plays most everyday and if Hendry has his way, he's our new CF. On the other hand, Bradley played in 75 games last year. In fact, I was shocked to see that he's never played 150 games in a season (not more that 140 actually with his second highest being 101games). Wilkerson would be nice but I think it's a pipe dream. So you would give up Pie for Pierre as rumored? She said pipe dream, not screaming nightmare.

I don't know the dimensions of the new Busch Stadium, but Burnett hasn't quite been all that impressive on the road in his career. Add the 2 TJS and I think 10-12 million is absolutely insane to consider.
