  1. Rams will take Carlos Dunlap, DE Florida. Leonard Little has to retire soon, they've got nobody to replace him, and they get good value here.
  2. He's also the guy who's on camera the most. I mean, if he's even close to contention you see every single shot he takes.
  3. Is that really accurate to look at it that way? I would think Duke gets a lot more opportunities to foul because there are a lot more possessions in one of their games than MSU. Could be way off, but I would think that would be a factor.
  4. What time did this game actually start? Wasn't it supposed to be 6:10 CDT?
  5. I think the only one even close would be NC state in '83.
  6. Those wild looking shots he takes (and misses badly) when he doesn't have 5 minutes to set his feet are exactly why he won't amount to much in the NBA. And man, is Butler getting mauled with no recourse.
  7. If we're going to continue here, the Rams will take Tony Pike, QB Cincinnati. If not, never mind.
  8. The Rams choose to make Sam Bradford a very rich man with the number 1 overall pick.
  9. I'm not sure we'll see a foul called the whole game based on watching MSU-Butler and the fact that Duke never gets any calls against them (ask Bob Huggins-that made me laugh). I really wish refs would call games the same way on both ends of the floor. It really makes games hard to watch when they give one team everything and call it tight the other way.
  10. I'm less concerned with that than I am his size. The Rams receivers are all midgets (except for Laurent Robinson) so having a big target was the big thing here. I looked at Thaddeus Gibson, but think they can get some help at DE later. I was a little surprised you didn't go QB with that pick. John Skelton would be a great pick in the third round. I like what I've seen from Pike and was considering him there, but that's just too early. In the actual draft, it wouldn't surprise me if McCoy is still there at the start of round 3. Of course, that won't matter since they'll be taking Bradford first overall.

  12. Illinois is dumb, slow, and doesn't care. They haven't looked interested since they got down 10 or 12.
  13. I guess I'll go with Decker then since I really don't like any of the other OG here.
  14. Eric Decker and Riley Cooper were possibilities here, but the interior of the Rams lines (O and D) have been awful, so they take Rodger Saffold, G, Indiana.
  15. Illinois is dumb, slow, and doesn't care.
  16. You're kidding here, right? Nope. He ran a textbook fast break, nobody guarded him so he knocked down a wide open free throw line jumper and got benched. Not exactly sure what that was all about
  17. I was on a treadmill at the Y yesterday afternoon and had on a heart rate monitor. The Mizzou-WVU game was on and they switched to MSU-Maryland for the last minute and when Lucious hit that shot, my heart rate jumped from 138 to 154 in like 2 seconds. I couldn't believe they just went without calling a TO.
  18. Did the Waukegan-Whitney Young game end or did I just get randomly switched to "Contour Abs"?
  19. seems like something i should have known, oh well. can i officially be considered old because i can remember with acuity tommy hamilton sr. playing in the state finals and now i'm watching his son in the state tourney? I was just telling my wife about that game they played against Rockford Guilford in the state championship game. I'm pretty sure that was 1992 and I was a sophomore.
  20. Did something happen to Dempster that I don't know about?
  21. If that's the way they looked at it, then they're dumber than I thought. You still have 2nd-5th round money to work with to sign that 1st round pick if that's the way you look at it, but more importantly, draft budget should never be something the Cubs worry about. Is this guy the best player? Yes. OK, draft him. End of discussion. They're not the Royals or Pirates.
  22. I'm glad you feel this way (if you are a rams fan). Most Rams fans I have talked to hate the idea of drafting a QB at #1. But I think it has to be done. I'm not a Rams fan, but that makes the most sense for them. Even if he's a flop, they need a guy who has the potential to be a franchise QB. AJ Feely just isn't going to do it. Based on the moves they've made, I fully expect that to be the pick.
  23. Since reggie seems to have disappeared, I'll do this myself. The Rams have needs everywhere except OT, MLB, and RB, but since they've spent heavily on the interior line I don't think they look there either. It's too early for any of the other QBs and they've used some recent early picks on WRs they hope to develop. I'd go Arrelious Benn here if not for that. Their DB and S situations were terrible last year in terms of coverage, so I think I'll take Patrick Robinson, CB Florida State. I was stuck in a meeting when I was supposed to make the 1st pick and would have taken Bradford and then a DT here, but oh well, that's the way the cookie crumbles.
  24. Thank the lord. I thought they were gonna give it away. Hopefully in with maybe a 10 seed now, best case scenario.
  25. They're trying to give this thing away, I swear to god.
