Is the division record the first tie breaker or is it head to head? I also wouldn't assume just yet that the Dodgers win the West since it's a 1 game gap right now.
I suggested a very specific move for a very specific purpose. Mo can hit but not much else at this point and a few days off may do Seiya some good. I'm also very skeptical that anything was corrected with 2 days off for Tucker.
Neither of those catches were near as difficult as that one. They were both fantastic plays, but the wind was tougher today, that was a much higher fly ball, and he was much deeper in the corner than either play Caissie made.
Well, the middle 3 games were fun at least. I wish they'd have just put Tucker on the IL to give him time to work on what's jacked up with his swing and let the kid play.
What are we doing here? Did they fix his swing and timing in two off days and suddenly his hand isn't hurting anymore? And we're benching the guy who almost single handedly won the game for them last night on top of it? This team is baffling.
Nobody said that, but Charlie Kirk is a known fascist and they're unfortunately associating themselves with him and people are unsurprisingly disappointed in that.
Charlie Kirk is a trash human being who thinks it's okay for a man to force himself on a woman if they're on a date. As the father of a 17 year old daughter, I'm 100% fine with people calling out anyone who supports that kind of behavior and I feel like that shouldn't be any kind of political statement whatsoever.

Interesting that we're complaining about a walk in this plate appearance where it appears 4 of 6 pitches are well into the strike zone. That ump was really, really bad last night and screwed the pitchers on both teams frequently. I'm not sure how it was as low scoring as it was.
I'll disagree with that last part. If the Cubs had gone 23-13 instead of 19-18 over the stretch of games before this series, they're sitting at 77-50 and 2 games out right now with a real shot at the division regardless of the outcome later today. They've lost 7 games in that stretch by 1 or 2 runs and you can't tell me a healthy Tucker doesn't hit a homer or 3 to make a difference in a few of those.
I generally agree with you on most stuff but saying this when it's obvious pitching hasn't been the problem since the deadline seems specious at best. Would Cabrera pitching well really have benefitted the Cubs much?
I disagreed with the Turner for Caissie move only because it was so early in the game. Now, turns out it probably worked out okay for the Cubs because I'm not sure Caissie makes that throw home to nail the runner that Castro did later.
