    It really is strange having gone from a "What the hell are they thinking?" type of reaction to a "What do they know that we don't that made them think this is a good idea?" reaction with the new FO. As much as I'd love to be a fly on the wall in any FO, this one would be particularly interesting to me because you know there's so much analysis and thought that goes into every move.

    I know it looks like he stumbled out of goal at the end of the period last night, but I saw somewhere else suggest that it was actually his arm. Watching it again, it could just be that he was dangling a hurt arm rather than stumbling. The loss of balance as he was leaving the ice and headed back to the locker room looked a lot more like dizzy/foggy/concussion than anything else to me. FSN Midwest showed that on their broadcast down here. Just looked weird.

    Not entirely accurate. They didn't keep track of blocks until like 1973, so I'm sure Russell and Chamberlain did it a few times each. Still pretty amazing though.

    I really enjoyed listening to him yesterday during the DL/LB drills. He kept it interesting and was really pretty funny.

    Most of the Europeanisms of soccer don't bother me, but a couple of them lately have been driving me nuts. A kit? It's a [expletive] uniform. And the pitch? It's a [expletive] field. It's like Americans referring to basketball players as "cagers". Annoying and unnecessary.

    Apparently playing anything other than that against Kansas isn't allowed. You get no called when you take an obvious charge and then called for a foul for breathing on a guy. I'm not bitching about this because it's Kansas. Calls blown that badly are inexcusable in any basketball game. It gets magnified since it was so obvious and in the last few seconds of the game, but calls like that and the wait until you see if the shot goes in to blow the whistle that seems to be getting so popular amongst referees have to go, and in a hurry.

    Rotoworld seems to think so. They've got us signing Albert at 5/37, Wes Welker at 3/27, and franchising Melton. If that's a possibility, sign me the hell up. I don't want Welker. We'd be better off getting a slot guy who can stretch the field to go with Brandon and Alshon. Who cares about stretching the field when u have two of the most productive Wrs of the last 5 years. I also don't think Welker has much left.

    Wouldn't Dejesus be a better fit? They need a power bat and are already pretty left handed in the OF, so Soriano probably works. The money part and the fact they're unwilling to give up any kind of real prospect makes it an unlikely match.

    There's no limit, it just costs them more to air games on a "superstation" than in just the local market.
