  1. I was trying to think of what nonsensical thing you would be up to that you couldn't watch the game but could follow this website when I remembered the games may be blacked out this weekend. That would be great. Serves the league right for letting the Packers win. Wait, why are playoff games being blacked out?
  2. To compound the horror of actually being at the Bears Packers game, my championship game ended in a [expletive] tie with no tie breakers set. Ridiculous. It was my 2nd tie of the year.
  3. I say Rodgers is rusty enough in the 1st half that we get a bit of a lead and have just enough to hang on for the W. I'll be there freezing my ass off, so these jerks better make it worth my while!
  4. Injuries beget injuries. I find the blasé "oh if he breaks it no big deal!" Kinda galling. There are already complications possible, it's really not anything he wants to go through. Didn't Danny Amendola come within a few centimeters of being dead from a broken collar bone in the last couple years? It's a potentially very serious problem, moreso than most broken bones would be.
  5. I'm not convinced that will be a factor. He may not want more than 5 years so he's a FA again before he turns 30.
  6. I'll take that as a positive as wrong as he usually is.
  7. This is exactly what I think the biggest problem has been. There's just nobody plugging the middle and keeping guys off the LBs to make tackles in the running game. That, plus the inability to get any kind of pass rush on a regular basis have just killed the defense. Good play up front really hid the weaknesses of the safeties last year it appears.
  8. I more than doubled my opponent in my semifinal, but I'm a little worried about next week because I'm not so sure Jamaal Charles and Eric Decker will be playing for any significant amount of time and I have to find a defense for next week too. No way i trust the Rams in Seattle.
  9. Hey, he hasn't won yet! I could get 10 points each from Gore and Davis tonight to win it! My team picked a great week to have their lowest scoring week of the season. Jerks!
  10. Yeah, I'm not sure how many B1G games this team is going to win. Every team (other than Illinois ironically) is older and more experienced. And U of I seems to have put it together faster than IU's young guys *cough*coaching*cough*. Right now it would be a monumental upset for IU to beat Michigan St, Ohio St, or Wisconsin even at home. And it's a toss-up at best vs. Illinois, Iowa, and Michigan at home. Can't see them beating any of those teams on the road. And then there's Minnesota, who's probably about at the same level. Illinois isn't as good as they looked Saturday. They're not getting a 20 point night from Abrams very often. That was a hell of a game, but they were exceptionally lucky to win it.
  11. I like this plan. There aren't many non-CBs who can cover Forte 1 on 1. It may take longer sustained drives, but I think it's a great strategy.
  12. Yeah, it costs them a TO but the play still gets reviewed. I think that's a poor use of the Indisputable evidence rule, because there's no way you can definitively say that ball wasn't moving when his knee hit the ground. Either way it was called, it shouldn't have been changed.
  13. That sack is on Jay. He needs to step up or audible there. Can't leave Forte on his own with a guy that big.
  14. I hope so. I'm going to the game next week and I'd really rather not be at Soldier Field for 3 hours on a freezing Sunday night. Really rooting for the Bears to win much more than usual because of that.
  15. If they win tonight it won't matter.
  16. Holy [expletive] that was unreal! I thought Flynn was throwing it to Nelson and he was wide open and it probably would have been a TD.
  17. No, because even if that happens, the Packers will still have less losses than them so they can't get in.
  18. I'll take a 7 point lead with 1:25 on the clock, no timeouts, and Flynn at QB.
  19. That was the only play there when you've got absolutely nothing to lose like the Giants right now.
  20. Today has made the Sunday Ticket worth every dime I paid for it.
  21. I'm going to hate this if they don't get it.
  22. It was only about 3 seconds that ran off. I was yelling at the TV myself.
  23. Yeah, the Bears would just need 1 win to finish ahead of them if that happened since the most Detroit could get would be 8 and the Bears already have 8.
  24. Nor do I. Should have went for 2 That would have been monumentally stupid. I hope you're kidding.
  25. Sounds like it but no report on what it is.
