  1. Hopefully they're beating him with a bag of nickels. Turd.
  2. Hell of an AB. He's generally looked much better the last few weeks.
  3. downsr: Quit [expletive] quoting using tapatalk if you're not going to fix it. Jesus.
  4. Well, they have had injuries. Wada is at Iowa, Turner is hurt, Wood was bad and so was Jaxon. So, you end up with broke ass Beller starting.
  5. Looks like John Kruk light to me with a little more pop and a little less avg/obp.
  6. You can drink beer with me. That should be reason enough! \:D/
  7. I don't get it either. Not sure why Soriano is the bad guy here. I feel that way because he's pitched like 4 innings and already given up 2 dongs and several other rockets.
  8. Huh. That actually seems like the opposite of sad for me. 'Sad' because he was a great player and if not for his gambling would be in the Hall. Eh, I've never actually thought he shouldn't be in the HoF; nobody should be excluded from it. It just seems like what he really wants is to actually work in pro baseball in any capacity and that's what he should never have. This is pretty much how I feel. No reason not to put him in as far as I'm concerned, but the whole job in baseball thing should be completely out of the question.
  9. If they send Castro to SD, he's likely the everyday 2B until they decide Baez is ready.
  10. Yeah, that seems questionable at best.
  11. So I'll attempt to make a civil post to explain why you're getting ridiculed here. Coghlan came up as an infielder but has only played a handful of games there in the majors for a reason. He's bad at it and should only be there in an emergency. yes, he's probably better at 2B and 3B than anybody on this message board could ever hope to be, but that still doesn't mean he should be playing there in the majors. All people ask on here is that you use a little deductive reasoning when making a post. For instance, if the post had been "Hey guys, I know he's probably not great in the infield, but was Coughlam so much of a butcher that he can't play there on a regular basis?", there likely would have been some decent replies not ridiculing your thought process.
  12. I vote for The Logan as all time gam thread starter.
  13. Ball 1 was closer to the plate than strike 3. Terrible umping.
  14. If Soler is going to play RF like Nelson Cruz, he's gonna need to start hitting HR like him too.
  15. i thought it was cool as [expletive] don't tell anyone but i really like brandon phillips Yeah, anybody Cards fans hate that much is okay by me.
  16. This seems like a good mindset for him. Focus on hitting stuff hard to right and then just react on anything hard and in. At the very least it would force pitchers to change things up from living on the outside half against him. He's got enough pop that he's not just going to be hitting weak singles that way, so it seems like he could do some damage even with that approach.
  17. Like Bryant's is any better?
  18. Yeah, I like the quicker pace. The best part of that is it minimizes Berman's ability to ruin things.
  19. This is fantastic and needs to be recognized for it's brilliance.
  20. Reynolds just got drilled in the forearm and they showed a close up of it when he got to 1st. That's and enormous, deep, and quick appearing nasty looking bruise. Also, screw those jerk asses.
