Cogs had a pretty hard hit ball in his first AB last night for a single. Looked terrible striking out in his second, but I'm not sure you'll get much better from Soler, who certainly won't see any hittable FBs from a guy as smart about pitching as Lackey is.
-
Leaving Soler in because he's red hot even though his bat is like Pedro Serrano's and is afraid of the curveball?
-
He's such a giant turd. He ALWAYS called Maddux Maddox and I still want to punch him in the face for it.
-
Oh my god, yes! I still haven't seen Schwarber or Rizzo's releases on theirs last night.
-
Pretty sure the boom goes the dynamite guy could do a better job.
-
Miggy is so great. I just wish he'd get a couple hits.
-
With Lackey going tomorrow, that wouldn't surprise me at all. I'd bet we don't see Jorge in all his glory because of that either.
-
So, everybody but Fred then. Nice.
-
He hasn't given up 7 He didn't start? Well, he may have now.
-
And how bad is the rest of the Dodgers' staff that Wood is still in after giving up 7 and looking like he's just done?
-
That was a puzzling move. Almost seems like mostly an ego stroke since he was so bad in Game 1. No idea why you wouldn't save that bullet for game 5. I'd certainly rather have a Cy Young winner available than a guy who's made like 6 starts this year. Weird.

I've gotten texts from multiple Cards fans complaining about the zone, particularly on Strop's last K. Apparently they all missed the awful ones KB has gotten rung up on.
-
No, on the off chance he's needed tomorrow, I want him available. All hands on deck and as fresh as possible.
-
They won't even notice.
-
The glorious fist pump!
-
Man, Strop is a big dude.
-
Grimm, Rodney, whoever, just not Strop please god.
-
Someone punch this jackass who keeps calling it a blunder. It was bad [expletive] luck because the ball took a high hop you moron.
-
Ew, sick uncle charlie there. Damn.
-
Lazy, lazy effort there. Dammit.
-
That is a dirty, dirty changeup.
-
not in the least Too much butt clench, heartburn, and screaming.
-
I'm late, but this. That thing was 6 inches off the plate and he hammered it.
-
Not actually true. Yeah, this TBS thing is completely awful.
