    Agreed. Yep. That's just about the only situation unless Dusty wants to double risk Lawton in Right and Burnitz in Center. Which I really don't think would work anyway. And if/when Patterson's phone does ring, I expect the OF will remain except with Hairston riding the pine. Sorry The Big Red One, "There's always next year".

    Interesting lineup. I'd really like to see Murton in there, but I guess he doesn't fit. Another interesting note is moving Walker down in the lineup to favor Hairston. Maybe Todd could regain some of his hitting magic down there.

    He's gonna be the next Corey Patterson! I mean Sergio Mitre! I mean Hee Sop Choi! I don't doubt there's 'potential' in Pie, but people need to stop building him up to the baseball god he's become in this forum. Talk about playing player favorites, this guy hasn't shown he can cut it in the big leagues yet. I'm not saying trade him for Farnsworth, but I would by no means label him "untouchable" or "the second coming of Christ". Thanks for the lecture.     he's pretty stout. Maybe he took some roids to help his knee heal better and got caught. Neifi? He's hit a few HR's this year.... No way its Neifi. C'mon. I know you guys don't like him, but jesus HRs aren't even his style. I'd say the only reason he's hit more HRs this year is simply because he's gotten more playing time.

    Do they test players on the DL? I heard that it might just be too much of a coincidence that Bonds will be out the rest of the year. I'd be surprised if Sammy got caught. He looks like he's lost weight and talent. He's probably off them by now (if he was ever on them). As for Tigers.....Maybe da Farns?

    That's possibly the worst article I have ever read. I suppose we hate D.Lee because he's black, Aram because he's Dominican, Zambrano because he' venezulan, and we only booed corey because he was of a different skin color. And did anyone else see D.Lee mentioned as the second-best player in baseball? Excuse me? :evil:

    Maybe they can detect levels of steroids. As in, the drugs may remain in the system, but I assume that there is a general decline in the blood levels (or whatever they measure). If there is another big spike, they could probably assume the player is back at it again.
