    ^^^ What he said. I've been watching Haren, and he just isn't as good as his amazing first half was last year. Beane knows this too, and knows to sell high if he can get some great players in return.

    I'm a huge fan of Ryan Church, and I think we'll see how badly RFK was strangling him next season. Of course, since I'm coming from that perspective, I think it's a pretty even deal.

    :P I'll still take it. We had nine victories this year. The previous four years we've had eight total. I think we're allowed to enjoy that a bit.

    I don't know, Carlos Lee, Hunter Pence, and Lance Berkman will all put up good numbers. Not to be mean to Jake, but they'll be better than the Pirates.

    While I don't like the idea of another rich, three year contract to a player we don't need....Matsui was actually pretty good last year.

    At first my reaction was "wow, what a lopsided trade for the Angels", but upon reflection I think it's more even than it sounds. Garland isn't that great, and Cabrera will be relatively cheap due to age.
