    Hopefully we've blown out the Cardinals by the time the Bears game starts.

    It all comes down to Quade twice becoming the reincarnation of Wavin' Wendall. the first one was understandable, though with the bases juiced i'd prefer to keep them that way and hope for multiple runs in the inning than send a gimpy baserunner on a ball he's got a 50/50 chance of scoring on. The second one was just terrible though. The first one would have been understandable in the eighth or ninth inning. It was the first inning, and it was clear that we had the entire game to score that "one more run". It was a terrible play given the situation and how poorly Joel was pitching at the time. Better to keep the bases full and keep up the pressure on Joel.
