    That's a good place to start for him. i think so too. there's not to much damage he can do at 1b (unlike 3b or hitting coach). i'm glad he wants to get back in baseball. between ryno & trammell, the cubs would have a wealth of knowledge for their middle infielders to draw on. Jeez, can you imagine Ryno and Trammell on the same team....*drool*

    I'd imagine Muhammad will be fine, but Manning Jr. and Harris would be big losses. Probably more so Manning Jr. I should say so, he got rammed in the back with a helmet last game!

    I like that IsoD from Patterson. And that power seems to be coming along...this kid could be really exciting. And it seems he's good at stealing bases too.

    Do we have to hear that song every 7th inning stretch? Why can't we just honor America before the game with the National Anthem and baseball during the game with Take Me Out to the Ballgame? I think there are much better sounding patriotic songs (such as America the Beautiful) anyway, if we're going for the patriotism during. Why do you hate America? Yeah, you'd think with Colbert leading the parade he'd learn to love America like most good citizens!
