    Very down year in 2005, broke his foot on in the opening game of 2006. His injury affected his play and he ended up having surgery after a bit of playing. Jeez that's awful. Where do you think he'll start next year? AA? Just checked his stats, holy shazbot, 39 homers in A ball?!?! And at age 20 as well....

    Good point. I wonder if this means a trade is imminent...although the Jays have spent quite a lot the last couple years on free agents in an effort to make the AL East more competitive.

    Harvey is still on the list? Also, that list is mighty small, although I guess they can't count Guzman, Mateo, or Marmol since they've played too much at the MLB level? Anyone back me up on this?

    According to ESPN, the Jays are closing in on a two-year deal with Thomas. I thought for sure he'd be back with the A's....

    Seems to be a common thread for Hendry. Although reports are today he was facing competition from other teams, he wasn't bidding alone.

    Hendry, Hendry...... [-( Why build up expectations of signing Soriano when you and I both know that the Cubs won't? I'm resigned to the fact that we won't get Soriano, I'm over it. Why delay that with other people? Why give them hope? I just hope he trades Izturis or Jones, and keeps Murton. IMO, that's a victory if we got market value for either Jones or Izturis.

    I think it's about time, and really just a matter of figuring out how to make sure there's not 3 instant replays every inning.

    Yeah, that's what I was cryptically referring to. :P If you take out his sophomore slump month of June, his year is actually really incredible. (BA .311)
