  2. HAHAHHAHAHAH....touche.
  3. That roughing the passer call against Urlacher was possibly the worst call I've seen all year.
  4. link Doesn't mean Murton is untouchable. I'm sure he could be had for the right price. Still, it is VERY encouraging to hear. Three cheers for not trading Murton!!!! :D
  5. I disagree. Look at what happened since Mike Brown went down. Teams were suddenly able to run on the Bears. Now it gets even worse with Harris gone. Did you see the way Minnesota was able to run the ball after he left the game? It's frightening to think about. Really? Weren't they basically gashing us all game, even with Tommie in there? It was just bad all game long from what I saw. To me, it looked worse once he left, but I guess that's kinda hard to find out.

  7. It doesn't help that the play-calling is so aggressive, but I agree wholeheartedly. It's really the tale of decline, and it's not because it's against good teams. However, I STILL don't see the point of starting Griese. Change the game plan, keep Rex on a leash, whatever, but Griese still shouldn't start. But the QB situation combined with the Harris injury has me very, very close to the panic button.
  8. This SUCKS I'll be down at college :x
  9. That's Ozzie and his son. And my understanding is that it is a traditional way of greeting when there is a lot of emotion in Venezuela.
  10. I think that's exactly it. Boston's been after Lugo for quite a while. If we sign him, we may well be able to send Izturis there, which would be EXCELLENT.
  11. Aye, shamelessly lifted from http://www.bearscast.com my favorite incredibly amusing Bears podcast website. I guess someone sent it in.
  12. Reverse the Curse prediction: Bears 14 Vikings 17
  13. Wow, that's really surprising. He was really consistent for the Marlins last year, and saved my fantasy baseball season with his saves. Never seemed like anything was wrong with him.

  18. IsoD isn't a good stat. walks per plate appearance is far more telling. First I've heard of that. Why do you say so?
  19. Every time a second baseman is signed Zambrano breaks a bat over his knee.
  20. Because Patterson can take a walk, has surprising power, and is rocked his offseason baseball, whereas Pie has struggled mightily. When Patterson was Pie's age, he hadn't played an inning of professional baseball. I'm aware, and I also know that Pie has always played in the level above him. But right now, Patterson is clearly the hot hand.

  22. Not that I disagree with you, but Dubois was 26 in 2005. Pie will be 22 next year.
