    This game has me very worried. Don't want no losin' streaks, and I think losing Bernard Berrian is much worse than most people think it is. He and Grossman were on the same page like no other receiver.

    Doesn't help with an unmotivated team and every time he makes a mistake it goes flying out....Sorry Maddog. Maybe you had more to do with being traded than we thought you did.

    Check out the differences in league leaders between 1991 and 2006!!! Wow. Power and strikeouts are waaay up, and the bullpen is much more active with less complete games. But stolen bases are relatively the same. And MAN is there a HUGE difference in OBP. I mean gigantic....

    It doesn't ring hollow, and I appreciate the sentiment. Do me a favor, though. When the Cubs are on the verge again, whenever that may be, root against them. I want the full victory experience, and that includes disappointed Cards fans. We now resume our regularly scheduled sulking. That is definitely a must. :P
