I look forward to everyone hating said draft pick either when the selection is made or when he's a 20 year old in AA. True, if anything we should trust the draft picks that this franchise makes. Especially when they are top 10 picks. -

He also just described McNutt. Plus velo w/ sink. Except for his anomaly game on July 9th when he gave up 3 HRs in one game, McNutt hadn't allowed one all year. I'm inclined to call Archer and McNutt the top two pitching prospects in the organization followed by Jay Jax. For a guy acquired as the Low-A project arm in the DeRosa deal and the 32nd round pick last season, that's not bad. Where do you think Cashner fits in? Or has he already had enough innings to lose prospect status?

Because Ryan Howard hits lefites like I do True, that still might be better than Ben Francisco does though. Howard hits at a .740 clip versus lefties with 7 HR's. Fransisco is at .655 OPS with 1 HR. Yeah I would have made Francisco beat me.

as has the NBA slam dunk competition Absurd, it's awesome watching Nate Robinson take 50 attempts at a dunk and Dwight Howard dressing up like Superman. Those guys put Jordan, Wilkens and Vince to shame.

So what happens to them? Do they re-enter the draft next year? I think by rule they would have to. Stern's gonna have to step in here. Second round picks don't have guaranteed NBA contracts. If they don't make the team, they can go to the NBDL. True, I was thinking about their first round picks.

Haslem, Chalmers, and Miller are not also rans. They are putting together a solid team. They just need a center. Shaq? That is until David Stern steps in and voids LeBron's contract due to collusion. He has burned too many bridges with Cleveland and will go to the Bulls. Chalmers maybe, but the other two, at this point. I'm not so sure they aren't also rans. Edit: I'm an idiot. Mike Miller, not Brad.
