  1. I know a lot on here aren't fans, but Eric Hosmer impressed me a lot. I love what the Royals have coming.
  2. Good lord, how many guys are we interested in?
  3. They do need help, regardless of their talent. All three can't play 48 minutes a game for 82 games a year. I'm not sure that Luol Deng is worse than LeBron James. Sure LeBron is probably better, but that's all I'll admit. jackass. Irony?
  4. he's the #1 player easily in that class. if we can get him, parker, and foster goodnight. everything is fine indyoldschool? lol
  5. They do need help, regardless of their talent. All three can't play 48 minutes a game for 82 games a year. I'm not sure if you realize this, but the best two players in the NBA (when healthy) are on the same team. I think the positive far outweighs the negative here.Wait, I've been sick, when did Kobe and Kevin Durant team up?
  6. Tommy Hamilton said on his twitter that Illinois is the only school he likes. Commit then Tommy.

  8. Are you kidding me, SSR? Gimme a break. I didn't say Rose was better, all I said was Rose wasn't a "worse point guard." If you are talking about "worse point guard" I assume you are talking about guys like Toney Douglas, Baron Davis, Andre Miller, Rajon Rondo, Jameer Nelson, etc. Derrick is a step behing Deron, just like Deron is a step behind Chris Paul, but Derrick has the talent to at least reach Deron Williams status, if not surpass it. What the hell are you talking about? Rose is worse than Williams so yes he is a "worse point guard". Toney Douglas and Rondo on the same list? And Baron Davis is not a step worse than Derrick when healthy, admittedly that isn't very often.
  9. The Bulls need Isaiah to get hired again so they can deal Deng for a future lottery pick.
  10. So the Bulls are trying to recreate Utah with a worse point guard? That'll end well. I wouldn't call Rose a "worse point guard" then Deron Williams. Yeah well then you don't know much about basketball.
  11. I don't know what to think about that. AI2 is talented, but he can't shoot either. A backcourt of he and Rose really leaves a lot to be desired in reguards to perimeter shooting.
  12. So the Bulls are trying to recreate Utah with a worse point guard? That'll end well. The Jazz have no centers on the level of Noah. Kyle Korver isn't a starting SG though, so they'd best go after Brewer to complement him if they insist on nothing but Jazz. True, but I'd rather have AK47 than Deng. Even with his awful contract. Plus Mhemet Okur is a better shooter than anything the Bulls have.

  14. Man LeBron turned heel better than anyone ever. Just think of how sweet it'll be for Cleveland fans when 6 years from now he comes back and realizes his mistake for one last face run.
  15. In some ways, I was hoping Ashton Kutcher jumped out of nowhere and tells Miami "You've been punk'd" whille James is putting on a Bulls hat. I know it's not going to happen, but it would be fun. James is a coward, this needs to be said over and over to him. Oh and Noah....a perfectly placed Bill Lambeer special on Lebron and Wade would be something I wouldn't lose sleep over. He's a coward for going to Miami, but wouldn't have been had he went to Chicago? He owes no one anything.
  16. Oh god they're going to give him another show. Quite Frankly, that's all they needed.
  17. I say we build around the cheap catcher with an over .800 career OPS, our 20 year old Shortstop, and Andy Cashner. Everyone else on the big league club can go. That includes Marmol, just please get a good return on him.
  18. You think Carlos Boozer + 3 point shooter + young guy development - Hinrich - Miller = 20 game improvement? I believe that could happen. Depending on how good the 3 point shooter is. edit: actually no I can see a 10 game improvement though.
  19. LeBron goes to Miami, they might as well award the titles for the next 5 years now. Not so fast, my friend. They would have NOTHING to go with those 3. They have Chalmers who is serviceable at point and I am sure there will be some more veterans ready to come there for dirt cheap to chase rings.

  21. if lebron played in chicago, people would all be freaking the [expletive] out because he's not announcing where he's going during his camp. there's a lot to read into there and no one is really mentioning it. that goes for wade, too. yeah, but i dont know. it's concerning that a week ago the bulls were involved in all the rumors,a dn now they're involved in none. hopefully it's the calm before the strom, but i'm not confident. i feel like we're head to carlos boozer or david lee and ultimately, nba hell. at least we'll win like 50 games and maybe a playoff series next year... right? If Rose keeps improving, which he should, we won't be headed to NBA hell.
  22. Us not getting any of these superstars again is karma for how we treated Jordan and Pippen after '98.
  23. Actually, nobody signs until the 8th. He "committed". Ahh I see that now. Domino number one has fallen anyway. At least Knicks fans can look forward to 50 wins and a bunch of points every season. Which is way better than what they've had in quite some time.
  24. Agreed. Hes gonna try, it wont be enough, but he will give his all.
  25. That's where you're wrong. These scrubs getting signed to Ostertag-esque contracts is by far the best part of the NBA offseason. True, I should say I'm not following the hype of the big 3. I can't wait for someone to give Boozer big money and then be pissed when he quits playing hard and is hurt for most of the deal.
