    Is this a serious question? Wood basically won our only playoff series in any of our lifetimes single handedly. What's that got to do with blowing the second game in a row? Nothing, but it's why the average meathead cub fan will always love Kerry Wood. I guess you answered my original question I mean it is what it is. He's Kerry Wood, its gonna take a lot for him to get booed a lot here.

    It's a long way from now till the fall, but it is encouraging for sure. Having a James/Hill/Nunn guard lineup would be really, really nice. Sounds like a commitment could come during the summer, but yeah he's a long way from signing.

    The fact that they are intelligent is what makes this so annoying. If they had been trying to put together a good team, they probably could have done it. Not one they deemed could have won the whole thing, which is the real goal. They need time to clear out the mess that was left.

    Why are you even pretending to still be a Cubs fan? Why would being unhappy about a loss and a bad team mean that I'm not really a Cubs fan? Odd perspective. You can be unhappy about that stuff, but just attacking every move we make is pretty shortsighted. We obviously have some pretty intelligent people in place to run things, why not let them do what they do for a bit before murdering their every move?
