  1. Carlos boozer, the bulls Soriano.
  2. Man Watson is so good.
  3. So wait....your "almost picked the Celtics but I was afraid people would yell at me" was assuming both teams at full strength? We will plow through the celtics, if they make it to us.
  4. You don't say..... http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nba-ball-dont-lie/nba-ratings-improved-season-185805096.html they must have heard that lebron would be dancing around this year All because of Jeremy Lin.
  5. So did Seattle gamble right or did they know?
  6. Clearly an Iowa fan doing a cheap imitation of sulley.
  7. He's got to be leading the team in appearances. When we draft the next Strasburg next year we will all have to remember Camp.
  8. Yeah beltran wasn't a risk, not at all.
  9. Maybe he didn't want to sign a 1 year deal with a team that probably wasn't going to the playoffs? Yeah and I think people might sometimes forget that its possible some of these FAs didnt want to waste 1-3 years playing for a rebuilding team. If the money was right most would, but I dont see the Cubs overpaying to make a 60 win team a 65 win team. Staying healthy for 3 weeks totally validates that signing as well.
  10. I'd rather have two years of Rice than four of Orris.
  11. how in the world has Howland attracted these guys after he's run the program into the ground AND gotten blistered by that SI article? Wasn't the article all about how the star players got away with anything and everything? Maybe it helped. Can't Howland also point to the NBA stars he helped develop? I think he has a better group of pros than Calipari does. Thus far anyways.
  12. Josh Smith and Tony Parker on the same team. The Wear twins might starve.
  13. Who would you have there? Ian Kinsler. Theo needs to hurry up and get him for nothing.
  14. Meh guess we'll have to let this ride out. To your advantage is the age which will give more starts and ABs to lesser hitters over the course of a summer. I expect Swisher to have a big year...not .955 but a career high or close...Granderson can mash and will finish in the high .800s of not the .900s IMO...Cano hasn't started going yet...AROd and Tex (again) are slow starting it...Gardner keeps trucking...I can see why they dangled Montero for a young power arm, just a deep, well balanced, patient lineup. IMO easily the best team in baseball this year...Just annoyingly good. Easily better than Texas?
  15. Crazy to say that's not Prior-at-his-best good. Depressing. You forget how good Prior was. He meant prior was better. I think.
  16. In their defense he won the finals MVP a couple of years ago after being awful. They probably think he's earned it.
  17. Isn't Baez going to have to move over size? Seems that if that's the case second would be a tougher transition. Castro has issues with throwing, that translates better to second, no?
  18. I really love the one of the Indian where the headdress spells out Illinois. Not sure it was ever a real logo, but I love how it looks.
  19. So is this one, albeit in the same way the Big Tens new logo is.
  20. Lol, I really love the old logo. Don't really like this one.
  21. Yep, RS-Sophomore. 3 years of eligibility. Does anyone have any idea which way he's leaning? Or is this kind of he just wanted out of Wisconsin, now he has to decide where he wants to go time? He's visiting Creighton on Monday, Iowa State in early May and the other two schools he's mentioned are Northern Iowa and Florida. Man, Florida? That really doesn't sound like a good fit.
  22. Are we talking more than Rizzo and Jackson amongst that several? For comparison's sake, I'm not sure you can expect Rizzo to do any better than what LaHair has done to date. On the other hand, Jackson could probably start hitting right handed and do a better job than Byrd has. Wellington Castillo would be a large upgrade at this point as well.
  23. And that's the goal! hehe
