    I could be wrong, but I thought people knew 2011 was loaded for a few years now.

    because he's a gamer and made of grit. he also threw 120+ his previous start. He was hitting 100 on the gun right at the end. Yeesh. It was awesome to be there to watch him, finally caught him in person. But, yeah that is prolly overuse. Oh and KC has a hot gun. Danny Duffy was hitting 99 and he's a mid 90s guy. Also Kelvin Herrera hit 102. I call bs.

    Lol that will be a tough sell for Groce I would imagine. And would probably turn the scout masses against him even if he did land him.

    until dylan bundy gives up a hit, he can be mentioned in his own light. :-) That light where pitchers aren't allowed to throw more than 3 innings? I'm intrigued why the Orioles are choosing to do it this way with him. I get taking it easy on a young arm, but when are they gonna decide to slowly let him go more?

    Add in the '10 draft was weak outside of the top three and the '11 was considered very deep, I still think the Zachary Lee move was the way to go. Also wasn't it common knowledge, or at least assumed that we were saving money in year one to recover from the sale?

    It's hard to buy that we could've fit Whitson in there and convinced him to turn pro. Even if we could, considering the final layout, financially, that year, that, based on the rumors of what I recall on Whitson's demands, would've significantly limited the entire draft. Anyhow, it wasn't an option. I'm not that down on either Sale or Allie, but I don't buy that we could've taken them for the same financial reasons. The Rays tend to slowplay prep guys, and Allie was a big, young arm - willing to give it time on that one. Would getting Wimmers have made things any better in retrospect? He's looking awfully pedestrian right now. We would have been better off reaching on Lee and not signing him, thus banking the pick for when we could have spent. IMO.

    So the way he's going being the inning and a third he pitched the last 10 days? The scoreless inning and a third? The scoreless inning and a third striking out 3. Yes, he just didn't look good doing it......

    Stephens was hurt for most of the AAU season last year. He's had a couple of very good performances so far to start this season. I'm not saying he'll end up better than Hill, there is a lot of time left, but he dropped in the rankings last year after he got hurt. They are both good gets. I'm excited for Hill.

    It doesn't really matter who is in your bracket, that's the upset region. Also will you tell me how awful you are all year again next year as you win 30 games? that's less annoying than you telling everyone how good illinois is as they lose 15 games. Like last year when I said they wouldn't be very good? Go ahead and look at the first page of last year's thread. So smart. You in mensa? Are you ever actually right? I mean besides when you are talking about movies, oh wait....

    Law still picks the teams he hates and likes. For example he touted Rizzo as a top prospect when the Padres had him this offseason, but when he was moved to the cubs he suddenly changed his tune? What happened on the plane flight over to the Cubs, Keith?

I was pissed when he committed. I hope he wasn't run off though. ETA: I see now that Orris's AAU coach said Groce was shocked, so I guess all is well. Even though Peoriaman is on scout floating rumors that Groce Creaned him. Rumors with no sources. Rumors that hurt the program. But its ok, he's a mod. And a Bruce Weber University fan.
