Ha! I ate dinner on President Bill Clinton Dr (or rd, st, ave, whatever) tonight. Plus beer at the flying saucer. mmmm An ex gf of mine used to be the GM of the Saucer. I assume they're still wearing the plaid skirts. If you need any advice on food or drink in LR just ask. Where was dinner?

The Arkansas Razorbacks basketball team is retiring #42 to honor Bill Clinton, the 42nd POTUS. They are doing this to coincide with the 20 year anniversary of the National Title. It was good to be a Hog fan back in 1994. Bill was president, Nolan was coach, we were playing Kentucky before the Super Bowl, the football team almost won the SEC... After reading some reports of some of the quotes Vilma has made, I'm not so sure. I would be very surprised if Vilma plays pro football again. Plus, he is obviously trying to get into broadcasting down here so someone should tell him to STFU if he is still wanting to do that. I also was thinking this today, he would right in on the Saints D, and they have the organization to handle this.

I may be in the minority here, but outside of that horrible drunk driving incident Dante has shown some to be a smart, thoughtful, solid guy IMO. He made a horrible mistake in life, but he handled that about the best way he could by accepting his own mistakes. True, the bar has been set pretty low but it's nice to see someone in the NFL have some accountability and furthermore, speak out on issues like this. More guys should man up and do the same.

My crazy aunt got mr that 100 year hat for Christmas just out of the blue. It's hideous. It looks like a cheeseball promotional cap. Edit: Nevermind. On mine the 100 year logo is on the front. It looks like some Kid n Play [expletive]. -
I wanted him on the Bears. I'm glad he's gone from the Saints, even besides the "Bountygate" ordeal. He lives and dies with the blitz and good QBs can pick his defenses apart. No thanks.

same game, i think, Remlinger strikes out Jason Giambi with the bases loaded and a full count. Put the ball right on the inside corner and got him swinging. That game, and specifically that exact moment are about as good as it gets for me in the last 15 years.

The saints who just won it all? Yeah that's rough. When I was growing up as a Saints fan, we were the laughing stock of the NFL. As in, for our entire existence as a franchise. During the Mike Ditka era we had dueling Billy Joe's at QB, Tolliver and Hobert. That's gotta be a record.

Try growing up a Saints and a Cubs fan. When I saw this commercial several years back it summed up my sports world.

OK, Mizzou fans. I am not anywhere close to saying you were right about Mike Anderson...yet. He is recruiting well and we actually have a point guard and some size coming in next year. There are some disturbing trends I am seeing out of him so far though: -his substitution patterns are...odd. Just as someone is getting hot he yanks them out of the game. -we seem to play better with our 2 big men in the game at the same time. It almost never happens though. -our full court defense is nice, but in the half court we seem to have no concept of rotating to the open man. -I swear that almost none of our offense looks like it resembles a drawn play. Pass, pass, pass, contested shot.
