    The Seahawks fans are great, but most of them didn't even exist before 5 years ago. And yes, sorry, but the persecution complex continues even later in that post with your complaining about the announcers. You have a great team with great fans and a douchebag coach. His douchebaggery extends down to several players. Almost every team in the league would like to be where the Seahawks are right now so stop with the victim card. And your capitalization is brutal.

    In fact, he was such a good sport that the refs decided to flag him for taunting! That was after for the choke sign to Harbaugh. Which is because Harbaugh told NFL teams not to draft him Oh, well nevermind then. Clearly he is a good guy that just needs a little affirmation. I blame his parenting.

    No, I think most people "hate" on the Seahawks because their coach was a cheat in college then bailed out on USC for the pros and suffered no consequences. Just because the Niners and their coach act like douchebags doesn't make Seattle any less douchey. Also, hipsters. They should blow up Seattle and off the whole bunch of them like they did Vegas at the end of The Stand.

    Even beyond the meatballs though. I think some of us are so hungry for any infusion of talent that we're looking for Tanaka to be a savior of sorts, or at least some of the rhetoric seems like that. It's like the old Eddie Murphy Ritz cracker routine. We may be really let down if we find out that he's just an ordinary cracker, no pun intended.

    Maybe a little hyperbole on my part, but the "get him at any cost" narrative is what I'm referring to. I want him badly, but my excitement is tempered a bit. People want him at any cost because he's young and expected to be a good pitcher and the Cubs need him. I really haven't seen anyone here building him up to be some kind of super-ace. Maybe not, but I can very much see a scenario where he gets the Soriano treatment, where he may be a pretty decent player but is seen as a bust because of the money he makes. Add to that the fact that he won't be able to directly speak to the media and I could see this playing out.

    Interesting that Schrager at FOX has the Saints going for the WR Benjamin out of FSU. I agree with his analysis that WR has become an under the radar big-time weakness for NO. They are aging quickly.

    Interesting that he estimates KB's call up for late 2014, and Javy's for 2015. It may be splitting hairs but I would have thought it the other way around.
