    Kudos to Ross for going to Robertson here in a high leverage situation instead of saving him for the 9th because closer. Could probably have gone one batter earlier, but it worked out in the end Now just keep him in for Arenado-Bader, then go to someone in the 9th that won't screw up against a trio of pitcher-quality hitters

    I was going to say "I didn't consider the walk-ons" but I forgot he's not a walk-on. He's just a built-in 13th man. I still think the team could use an experienced PG and a backup big, but again convincing a transfer to join up in Champaign for 10-15 minutes a game is a tough sell for a quality player.

    I think its a decent chance of happening. Before the series I figured 1% chance I'd say the chance right now is about 20%. Reminds me of the very last time the Bulls were in a playoff series, when they won both the first 2 games in Boston before getting blown out in game 3 and not winning again. This isn't really going to be a competitive series until the Bulls actually lead in it.

Sent from my Pixel 6 using Tapatalk On the contrary, I think taking the opportunity to stretch a guy out in a low stress situation is ideal, particularly when a guy hasn't thrown a ton in the spring and is going to need to provide innings through the year. EDIT: And we're talking 77 pitches here, not like he's throwing 120.
