You must not be watching a lot of baseball this year. The Pirates have scored half as many runs as the Cubs this year. -

In a vacuum, you're right. But Bayern is better than Chelsea and Real Madrid is not as good as Barcelona (whatever the La Liga table says). Bayern still has a better chance to advance. I think Barcelona will advance, but I'm not sure they'll win the final. Oh, I don't think they're more likely to win, just that they can still afford to bunker and have a little bit of leeway. They'll still probably lose 4-0.

Well, Bayern and Chelsea each won their home legs of the semis, so the return trips in Spain should at least be interesting. Chelsea may actually be in a little better shape due to the home shutout.

Also, on an amusing note (to me), that makes the last four Illinois head coaches (if Jerrance counts for the interim period) currently coaching four separate Big 12 programs.

That's a weird jump in logic from "let's get the calls right" to "let's replace players with robots". It's like saying that if the NHL is going to review goals, they may as well have a mechanical goalie. -

Which would be a lot easier if Lunardi didn't disavow all knowledge of his ridiculous April bracket as soon as the year rolls around. Every site I checked for it linked to the main bracketology page, which is annoying.

It's as if the owners got together, singled out one hypothetical owner that complained the most about draft spending, who we'll call "Ferry Jeinsdorr", and went with his plan for the new agreement because otherwise all 30 teams weren't going to be on equal footing in the draft.

I'm not sure that anyone came back and won with yesterday's points, so the W-L records may be correct, but it's still important to get the points right for the week for tiebreaker situations down the road.
