    How Bowden is on the team still baffles me. At least bring up someone from Iowa because there has to be other options in the farm system. There isn't. That's the problem. The AAA and AA pitching is a black hole of even worse suckiness. Dolis is about the best shot they've got for the near future unless Vizcaino doesn't pan out as a starter.

    Bowman is one of only 3 Cub relievers worth a net positive this year. Bizarre rant.

    Oh yes, because the come back victories have been so plentiful and the games blown by the bullpen have been so rare. When you predict that the game is over in the 8th inning 162 times a year, you'll probably be right 75% of the time, and you'll be annoying, pointless, and stupid 100% of the time.

    I want to think he's had foot problems since well before free agency. Could be a worse flare up or just not having the tolerance for it as he ages too. Another reason I'm not paid to make decisions, I was very big on Pujols in Free Agency, especially relative to Fielder. Yeah, as much as the Cubs FO got flack for not spending big in 2012 FA, I think they made the right move, in hindsight.

    Oh, he'll get paid. NBA owners continue to be ridiculous with their contract signings, just hoping they can balk their way out of it in the next bargaining agreement.

    They don't have Bird rights to him, so any team can just price him beyond what the Bulls can legally afford (the MLE, basically, since the Bulls are up against the hard cap), and they will.
