    If the Fox announcers were actually paying attention, they would realize the Cubs are doing exactly what makes their offense so tough. Even when they aren't making solid.contact, they are all extending ABs, even Baez, and a pitcher that has been seemingly cruising may not get through 6.

    He gave up a homer on the first pitch. I have no faith in him as a reliever either. Do you think a starters potential ability as a reliever is related to how they do in the first inning of starts? Remember who you're talking to. Any sample size bigger than the previous 3 pitches need not apply.

    Go Pirates and Marlins, I guess? At this point, it's basically a 90% chance that the wild card game will consist of two of the Giants/Cards/Mets. Half of the remaining 10% is that the Giants catch the Dodgers.

    So after yesterday's results, it looks like the Hex will be USA, Mexico, Costa Rica, Panama, Trinidad and Tobago, and Honduras, unless Canada makes up a 5 GD on Honduras by beating up on El Salvador while Honduras loses to Mexico.
