  1. no need, this time. Heh, Gameday said he struck out.
  2. Nice inning from Hill. He's at 83 pitches through 6.
  3. 5 shutout innings for Hill and our pathetic offense might not even get him a W.
  4. Hill hasn't been dominant, but he's been good enough. Get this guy some run support, idiots.
  5. Arroyo is an all right pitcher, but we make this guy look like God when we face him.
  6. Mine is hung up on Arroyo batting. What the hell is up with this?
  7. What does that mean exactly? Jones in the three spot and no Murton yet again.
  8. Lineups: Reds Freel-CF Phillips-2B Dunn-LF Conine-1B (lol) Griffey-RF Encarnacion-3B Castro-SS Ross-C Arroyo-P Cubs Soriano-CF Theriot-3B Jones-RF Lee-1B Barrett-C Floyd-LF Cedeno-2B Izturis-SS Hill-P Looks like Lou didn't learn anything from the last five innings yesterday.
  9. We can't beat them in NJ. So we would have to be perfect at home. IMO they beat us if we play. Bulls could certainly take NJ at home, or on the road. NJ has some nice talent, but they certainly haven't faired well against good competition of late. Outside of Washington, they really haven't beaten a real playoff team since Feb. Their home record is only 23-17, and 28-21 in conference. On average, they give up more points than the score. NJ is NOT an average team at best. Also don't forget, we should have easily won the other two games against them. We had 18 point leads in both games before we started to get lazy and threw up some bad shots. I'd much rather play a New Jersey team that is very front-loaded than play a Miami team that has great depth. If we were to play Miami, that series probably goes all seven and I probably wouldn't be too confident that we could beat them in a seven game series. New Jersey, on the other hand, I think we can take them in 5.
  10. Marmol, Taylor, and Dolis. That's solid.
  11. Do the Bulls have another pick? As far as I know, when they trade picks they will only have the Knicks pick and their own late 2nd round pick. They wouldn't have a pick in the late 1st/early 2nd in order to take Afflalo. Yeah, you're right. The Bulls are actually swapping picks with the Knicks. We do have two second rounders though.
  12. I think we all know that the pitching is going to be Peoria's bread and butter this year. But what do you think of the Chiefs' offense? In your opinion, what position player do you think has the most potential?
  13. Oh man, Omar. You had your chance at doing all of us a favor by knocking him out. If I got that close to him, I don't know what I would do. He is one annoying idiot.
  14. I know Raisin knows. I think Ceda has the best overall stuff of the three, but I'm pretty sure Pina can fire it up there as well. Peoria does have a lot of interesting pitching prospects. Tennessee won 7-5. Piggy got the W and Jim Henderson got the save. Seven position players had two hits for the Smokies. The only who didn't have two hits, and a hit altogether, was Dope. He finished 0/5. Fox was 2/5 with an RBI double and a SB. Matt Craig was also 2/5 with an RBI double. Nice to see their offense break out tonight. Iowa just won 4-1. Cherry, Rapada, and Baez combined to shut down Round Rock in the final three innings. Pie finished 1/2 with 2 walks, an RBI, and a run scored. Hoffpauir was 2/3 with a walk, an RBI, and a run scored. EPatt finished 0/3 with a walk, a run, and 3 strikeouts. And the most important news of the night..Angel Pagan had a hit to push him even at the Mendoza line. He also stole a base! Way to go, Beltran.
  15. Burlington added another run in the 9th and Peoria lost 2-0. Tennessee now up 6-5 in the 8th. Jake Fox had an RBI double to tie it at 5 and then Kroeger had an RBI single, which scored Fox. Iowa up 3-1 in the 7th. Walrond finished at 6 innings, 2 hits, 1 ER on a homer, 2 Ks/1 BB. Cherry came on for the 7th and allowed a hit, but that was it. Pie now 1/2 with 2 BBs while EPatt is now 0/3 with 1 BB.
