    Daytona won 6-3. Four runs in the Daytona 7th led to the victory. Blevins got the win pitching 2 1/3 innings of scoreless relief. Matt Avery walked two in the 9th, but earned his first save of the season. Amador had 3 hits, including the triple to lead off the game for Daytona. Matulia, Norwood, and Garcia each had two hits. Colvin finished 0/4 with a BB and a run scored. Peoria down 1-0 still in the 9th. Peoria has managed to get three hits (Lansford, Canzler, and Joseph), but they haven't been able to put anything together. Pina's final line: 4 IP, 3 hits, 1 ER, 3 Ks/3 BBs. Carrillo pitched 3 scoreless innings of relief and Ruhlman pitched one. Tennessee down 5-4 in the 6th. Berg finished with 4 1/3 innings pitched, 9 hits, 5 runs, 3 Ks/2 BBs. Six of the eight position players have a hit. Only ones that don't are Dope and Koreger. Salas is 2/2 with a double and a walk, Matt Craig has a double, and Cortes is 1/1 with 2 RBIs and 2 BBs. Jake Fox is 1/3. Iowa up 3-0 in the 6th. Walrond has pitched like a stud tonight: 1 hit, 0 runs, 1 K/1 BB. Felix is 1/2 with an RBI, a BB, and a run scored. Hoffpauir is also 1/2 with an RBI and a walk. EPatt is 0/2, but he does have a walk and a run scored.

    Daytona now down 3-1 in the 6th. Blackford is done: 5 and 2/3s, 5 hits, 3 runs, 2 ER, 2 Ks/3 BBs. Colvin is 0/2. Tennessee is tied at 3 in the bottom of the 4th. Berg gave up 1 in the 3rd and 2 in the 4th. Tennessee got all 3 of their runs, all unearned, in the 2nd. Fox is 1/2 and Dope is 0/2. Peoria down 1-0 in the 5th. Pina has allowed 1 run on 3 hits and 3 walks while striking out 3. The Chiefs' have yet to have a baserunner. Iowa just got underway...Walrond retired the first 3 Round Rock batters in order.

    Bonds has two homers in the first 4 innings. ESPN is going to be all over that. Carlos Lee has went deep twice and the Crapstros lead the Phillies 5-3. Cards-Brewers are in a rain delay.

    Daytona races out to a 1-0 lead after an Amador triple and a Matulia single. Berg has pitched two scoreless.

    come on now, they aren't even 2 weeks into 162 game season. The signs are there that this team is going to be a lot like the 05 and 06 teams. We're 0-3 at home against the likes of the Astros and Reds. How can anyone be optimistic about that? 3-6 overall and all 9 of those games have been against NL Central teams. Yeah, we're really going to go far if we can't beat the crappy opponents in our crappy division.

    And look! Our best reliever just struck out two batters on seven pitches. But the almighty Will Ohman just had to come in before Wuertz.

    As usual, he couldn't throw a strike for his life. And then we replace him with another pitcher that doesn't know how to throw strikes. And now we're down by one.

    This has grown amusing. And I thought this team could win over 85 games? What an idiot I am.

    Z always walks guys. He was rarely in any trouble today before the 5th. Once again, aces do not walk batters as much as Z has. If he wants big money, he needs to learn control and needs to stop throwing fits when he gets in trouble.

    Lou needs to slap Zambrano in the face. An ace pitcher does not walk 4 batters and let a team back into the game with a 5 run lead.
