  1. Rizzo and Bryant in the HR Derby Damnit!
  2. Thanks for the anniversary gift Cubbies! Woo. I'm so happy
  3. Ok I'll say it......I hope the Cubs keep a spot for Jonathan Herrera all season. He's not a good hitter but has been great defensively and he's been good in close situations. He's 11-30 with runners on base. 6-15 with RISP.
  4. pleasantly surprised he is hitting the ball very hard and he has the full ASB coming up, so why not? Not complaining. Works for me.
  5. Really surprised that Soler is playing both games, being that he's coming off injury. Figured protecting him take precedence over getting more RHs in the lineup.
  6. No. Last dude that started was thrown into the rotation the day after being claimed off as a minor league FA.
  7. Arrieta strikes out the side, bottom of the 9th. But all 3 reach on wild pitches. Then 3 different pitchers balk all 3 runs home, before a HR by Wong.
  8. Bases are always loaded. Runs are never scored.
  9. Lackey is seriously the worst pitcher in baseball. He's throwing BS and getting an out whenever he wants to.
  10. I don't [expletive] know anymore. I really don't.
  11. Please send Bryant. Don't let Starlin Starlin us out of a run.
  12. so he goes from good vibrations, to bad blood, to trap queen? man Id be gay for rizzo QFT
  13. This is every Cubs/Cards game. Horseshoe up the ass having bastards
  14. 495ft! [expletive]. Probably underestimated that too.
  15. That 5-game series was amazing. The whole team arguing with the third base ump on the game we were hosed on was great too. Also, the Cardinals went home right after that to play the Reds. My dad, uncle, brother and I had pretty good seats. We all wore the blue alternates. Cardinals TV guys continued to lament the series all night and showed us often. I was at Game 1 of the doubleheader. Sosa walk-off in the 15th. I thought for sure Augie had a walkoff in the 12th (I believe) as he took one to the wall in LF. Aramis just missed a walkoff also. Sammy hit a foul would-be walk-off in extras too, IIRC. Most fun I ever had at a game in my life. Lost my voice between that game and yelling at the TV on the nightcap. Cubs won everyday for 8 straight days (losing only game 2 of the DH in the 5 game Cards series).
  16. Latos is one of those pitchers that I really hate to see beat the Cubs. He's a complete toolbag and deserves to lose badly.
  17. 16 runs on 18 hits for Myrtle and Zagunis is the only player without a hit, kind of a bummer. Heck, he was one of 2 players that didn't have a multi-hit game. Did walk once and score.
