I really liked Sherrod Martin coming out in the draft, but he's been below mediocre in his career. Thomas is a short yardage back who fumbles. If he shows ball security, he could make the team over Jacquizz Rodgers, as a change of pace, pass catching back isn't really a need. I really think they need to find an OL and a DL help. Unless Kyle Long is all-in at one of the tackle spots, you still are looking at Mills and Ola/Leno competing for RT. And they still haven't replaced McDonald, who was projected as a starter on a pretty weak area of the team. The Bears still have about 8.2Mil in cap space from what I read. Red Bryant is still out there and is a great run defender for the base D. Jake Long, Evan Mathis, and John Moffitt are available on the OL. The latter two are potential starting caliber guards if Kyle Long moves permanently outside, though Moffitt has been out of the league about 18 months due to drug addiction, I don't know if that's something the Bears want to do right now.
