  2. What a catch! Bye Kellen
  3. Scared him into that pick. Pass rush getting home!
  4. Um 15 point lead. We'll be alright
  5. Auto correct sucks
  6. Marshall shoulda been flagged for that one. Didn't push off, but this ain't basketball. HOLY SHIFT WHAT WAD THAT!
  7. His nickname should be sex cannon.
  8. Forte has to break that tackle
  9. That was a nice ending to that drive
  10. Nice play Hester.
  11. Can't figure out if the Bears are pissed at Hester or saving him for offense.
  12. Didn't concuss his arm.
  13. I'm kinda surprised Campbell is active and able to back up. I thought he needed a mental break. He took an absolute beatdown 6 days ago.
  14. Edwin Williams is finally active today though.
  15. Oklahoma St. would get it, I think.
  16. [expletive], if this was last year, Garza could have been a potential match. Even sans questions about the elbow, I'll assume they're looking for more than one year out of a guy. Any chance they view Samardzjia as a front end starter? Arizona, Atlanta, Oakland, and TB are perfect matches. Especially Oakland and Arizona who could then turn around and flip Reddick or Upton to re-stock. If nothing else, hopefully Epstein puts us in position for that type of thing in the next few years. That article mentions Tampa, Arizona, Seattle, and Oakland as teams KC has spoken with. If they like Shields (as speculated), I would think they would like Samardzija. I don't think they'd give up Wil Myers for either though. The As and DBacks have mostly young arms available. Potential front line guys, but do they want potential or do they want someone that slots at the top of their rotation now? Samardzija may be more interesting, for that fact, than even those teams' best arms. I'd imagine though, they're very interested in Felix Hernandez, and are probably holding out to see if the Ms will budge on him. I wonder what the Cubs would have to add to Samardzija to get Hosmer, Gordon, and Odorizzi? Soriano? Barney? prospects? Trading Gordon would open a spot for Myers in LF. They could still find a 1B/DH (or can have Soriano) to pair with Butler. Odorizzi would be expendable with the pitching depth at the ML level and they still have a few guys in the minors. I honestly think they'd love to get a SP like Shark and be able to keep Moustakas, Myers and Butler.
  17. This [expletive] makes no sense.
  18. Carimi has to look at the other side of the line and wonder how he was demoted and Webb is fine. The coaching staff has made some ballsy moves this year. Between cutting Williams, benching Moore and Okoye, and now these two moves....the coaches aren't sugarcoating anything.
  19. Ugh, I guess Floyd. Does Jackson even get touches anymore? Also, I was leaning RG3 over Ryan. Believe it or not, I haven't started RG3 over Ryan once this year. Last week, RG3 outscored him like 32 to 3. RG3 has a 6 point edge this season overall. Why Ryan?
  20. No. Melton is one of the best in the league at DT after being a college RB and DE. Wright and Conte have been decent. Wootton is finally developing. Louis was a college TE that is a serviceable OG. Paea is decent. DJ Moore. Forte is a recent pick too. Its not ideal but the Bears have had players develop fine. Scouting has been another issue. To be fair, Louis played OL his junior and senior years at San Diego State. Yeah, I know. My point was the Bears have had some success in developing players, mostly defensively though. That goes along with the makeup of the coaching staff though. It's not a mystery why the Bears can't develop any offensive players when they don't have any good offensive minds with any say-so in the organization. A lot of those players are 3rd-7th round picks though. The Bears have combined an utter lack of early picks with failure on the ones they have had. That's tough to overcome, but they are probably 1 really good draft away ala the Giants, Niners were a couple years ago. Of course, they don't really have the picks this year to do anything about that.
