  1. That's probably it. But just to keep the conversation going, I'll say the 9 game winning streak and more specifically, the final game of the Giants sweep. Felt like a playoff atmosphere on TV. Arrieta was great and about as nails as he's ever been at getting out of jams in that game. Rondon loaded the bases with no outs, and then went Satchel Paige and struck out the side to win it.
  2. Bostic and Porter (2 guys that shouldn't have made the team) are both out Sunday. Both missed last week also. Bostic's injury is an ankle, not his previous back problem. But I think it's a big issue that these guys have probably combined to practice 20 times in the last 11 months.
  3. Don't like Javy sitting 2 days in a row.
  4. Kris Bryant makes this team go. 100% of the time.
  5. 3-0 and 3-1 are supposed to be hitter's counts. STop making outs!
  6. Baez gonna get a hold of one of these pitches from Soria's crazy ass.
  7. Maybe the Pittsburgh atmosphere suppresses fly balls more often than at Wrigley? Pittsburgh atmosphere suppresses everything.
  8. It's ok guys. Saving Rondon for the save........Tuesday.
  9. Literally everything you post sucks so, so, so much. LMAO!
  10. Ha. WTF? Never thought Starlin could execute that.
  11. Part of me wants to pinch run and steal to stay out of the DP.
  12. I always be like, "C'mon please, work out of this." Then I realize it's Arrieta pitching.
  13. I really don't want to see the Pirates in a 5 (or 7 if it was possible) game series. I'm much more worried about having to beat Burnett and Liriano multiple times than beating Cole once, regardless of who the Cubs pitcher is.
  14. I know. Crazy people thinking an outstanding final year in college and 105 QB rating in his final 5 games last year would amount to anything.
  15. This makes no sense to me. They were up 3. Score a TD, go up 10, and who cares what the Cowboys do? Game's over.
  16. Exactly what it is. I'm encouraged by a couple of the young guys that played above average (Goldman, Amos, Sutton). But they simply do not have enough talent on the OL or defensive back areas to seriously compete this year.
  17. Eh. The Packers were stacking the box and playing man on every receiver. Playcalling was horrible, but moreso because of the route designs. Though, I do think a toss would have had a good chance of working though, if the receivers got blocks outside. The defense showed a ton of improvement, IMO. They actually were able to cover at times. Huge improvement over the last 2 years. The front 2 (Bears played only 2 DL on all non-goaline plays) were all pretty strong. Sutton had a good start. Goldman was pretty good. Jenkins was solid. Ego didn't do much though. The edge guys didn't do much in the way of pass rush, though McPhee is pretty good against the run. Shea didn't embarrass himself out there, despite missing some tackles and getting dragged by Lacy a couple times. Amos played really well, I thought. Fuller was good for most of the game. Rolle and Allen were terrible though from what I could tell. Ball was bad. But overall, hold Rodgers to 189 yards and you should win the game.
  18. Absolutely nothing you can do against him.
