    I know Kyler Burke isn't age appropriate for Daytona, but is he someone to keep an eye on for a big league bullpen spot? Even though he's a little older, there is not much mileage on his arm. I always thought so. I've heard mid-to-high 90s with a good breaking ball....when out of the pen. I've alwaysfigured he was starting to get the innings under his belt. But his calling could be as a late inning reliever. I wouldn't be completely surprised if he moved to AA at some point this season and got a Sept callup.

    That looks a lot better. I was always annoyed that their helmets were not the same color as their jerseys. Like not even really close because of the shinyness.

    IU is a really good team. Better than I ever remember them being. Got a lot of big pitchers over 6'5". Got a really good power hitter and some decent defensive guys who contribute enough with the bat. If they get there, I think they can beat Florida State. Not getting past Vandy though, I don't imagine. Would be nice to see them in the CWS. National title in men's soccer. #1 team for a good part of the season in men's basketball. Ranked team in baseball. Good year for IU sports.

    I think so. If the Hawks aren't going to score on PP, it's better that nobody does, because they are better than most (if not all) teams 5-on-5.

    So much pressure in our defensive zone. Either going to be a fatal turnover or a huge breakaway to win this game. If Hawks adjust they got nothing. Better do it fast though.

    Pierce Johnson isn't that far from the top 3 IMO. There's a gap no doubt but not a huge one, especially since he's been the most consistently successful other than Soler over the last 12 months. I'd still have Vogelbach over Alcantara and Vizcaino in the top 7 somewhere.

    Yeah 50+ innings should be enough. Maybe 1 more after this at most.

    Not sure what the number of errors everyone else has has to do with Baez. It can still be on Geiger. 2b can play deeper, miss a ball and make a much shorter/easier throw to 1b for an out. And 3b doesn't get near the same number of chances that a SS gets. And then u gotta consider the extra range giving Baez more chances to make errors. That being said, there's no excuse for the error total being that high. If your 1b sucks, adjust. If u are frustrated at the plate, get over it in the field. If he can't play the position, he can't play it but I think it is a combination of alk those factors and more. I'm worried about it, but not seriously unless he's up to 40-50 errors in July. From all accounts he has the ability to finish the year on a strong note and maybe only make 7-10 more the rest of the season (similar pace to last year), which eould make his early season issues a nonfactor.
