    This was the Cubs' first game against Sabathia as a Brewer. He gave up 4 runs (3 earned) in 6 2/3 innings. The Cubs won, but Sabathia didn't get the loss. The Cubs then gave Sabathia his first loss as a Brewer on September 16, scoring 4 runs in 7 innings off of him. The Cubs faced him one more time, on the final day of the season. In that game, Sabathia threw a complete game, giving up just 1 unearned run. While the Cubs did have more success against him than other NL teams, it's not like they mashed the ball every time they saw him. Also, the 2008 club was a heck of a lot better team than this bunch. The only other team to give Sabathia a loss as a Brewer was the Reds.

    There is absolutely no reason that Campana should be starting over Johnson.

    I dont know if I can get myself there yet. Maybe if they can win or tie the set with the Yankees. However, its always good to see your guys pad their stats in nothing else. GO CnBS! How exactly can the Cubs tie the series with the Yankees? Will each team win 1 1/2 games?

    Soriano went 0-6 with 2 Ks for Iowa tonight. We may have to put up with cold Soriano for a while.

    Not necessarily. The Cardinals also have to lose tomorrow. If they and the Cubs both win, the Cubs will still be 10 out.

    Snyder is this year's AAAA all star, like Hoffpauir and Fox before him. Hoffpauir and Fox actually got some hits in the majors. Snyder's done nothing. whats he had, 5-6 AB's? He's had 9 this year. He hit .185 in 27 ABs last year.

    Hallday is 0-3 with a 4.50 ERA in his career against the Cubs. He gave up 6 runs in 6 innings the last time he faced them.
