No faith in Miles? I kinda enjoy watching his ABs. Did anyone who went to Spring Training notice that the Aaron Miles themesong was "Iron Man" whenever he came to the plate? It was funny at the time, but is even funnier now.
He is really bad at baseball But he has the versatility of being bad at many positions. He is the Jake Fox of the Cubs' middle infield, minus any offense whatsoever.
Hopefully the NL West teams beat up on each other and the Cubs make up ground against inferior opponents. I think Colorado and San Francisco are the only real contenders and they both have what appear to be more difficult schedules. That they do, but never ever count out the Marlins. I don't know. They finish up with 4 of their last 6 series against St. Louis, Philadephia, and Atlanta (and most of them on the road). I'm counting them out. :D

That's very true, except that both teams have very similar schedules the rest of the way and the Cardinals now have a 5 game lead. That's going to be very tough to overcome, short of us sweeping them in September. Their last two weeks has 9 road games. In Colorado, Houston, and Cinncy. We still have a shot. So you mean to say they will only win 7 out of 9?

I listened to part of the Cardinals' rain delay broadcast on XM Radio on the way home from Wrigley and their announcers talked like they are the best team ever assembled... but the way they are playing, just maybe they are.
Reporting from the upper deck at Wrigley... The rain is very ligjt at the moment but there is lightning in the area. And just as I type this the rain is picking up a bit. Its going to be a long day.
By month: .955, .657, .585, .992, .431 Does anyone know how closely those numbers correlate to the Cubs' strength of schedule? For example, did we play teams like Pittsburgh and Cincinnati more often in April and July than other months?
