    Bad call or not, Baez needs to learn to control his emotions a little better. I have seen several occasions over the past year where he has argued calls or made outward displays toward the umpire and I don't want that to become a pattern with him. Hopefully today's benching got his attention and he can put this behind him and proceed on a positive note after the pinch hit home run.

    Apparently there was once an American League curfew where no new inning could start after 12:59am. I have no idea whether that curfew is still and place or, if not, when it was eliminated.

    Pittsburgh doesn't have rooftop owners, they can play until however late they want I thought there was a league rule that no inning could be started after a certain time? If one still exists it's that a game can't start after a certain time, but I think the only curfews that exist (if there still are any) are imposed by the cities themselves You must be right. I can't find it in the rulebook. I'm not sure why I thought there was a league-wide curfew unless there was one in the past.
