  1. That is hard to do when the guys getting on base are in the middle of the order and the guys hitting with RISP are the worst bottom of the order in baseball. I'm quite certain that everybody been at fault at one time or another in that department. You aren't ranked last in the MLB or near it because your bottom two guys are always screwing up. In addition, it's not like the middle of our order are gang busters when it comes to OBP. Well, if the bottom of your order never gets on base, that limits the RISP opportunities for the top of the order, so having a pathetic 7-9 can really skew a RISP stat.

  3. Good call, but how did they get Soriano on that?
  4. The Titanic sinking really puts things into perspective for me.
  5. He is in between being in between, but soon he will be in between again.
  6. I have always thought Marmol's problem was being caught in between.
  7. McCarver doing his best Brian Fellows impersonation.
  8. "As in Omaha, all's well that ends well." What the hell that does that mean?
  9. Forget 42, I'm going to see the Bill White movie this weekend.
  10. That comment made no sense. How the hell is tackling a pitcher part of the game in the same way that throwing a pitch is? Apparently it was "well thought out" because it came from Konerko.
  11. What a moronic comment from Konerko. It is "part of the game" now to charge the mound and break someone's collarbone?
  12. Wow, McCarver has been bad for awhile, but he is even worse now. He kept going on and on about how someone should have backed up Pence's throw, seemingly oblivious to the fact that the throw was so far offline that it wouldn't have mattered whether anyone was backing it up or not.
  13. I went in with the expectation of losing a decent amount of money, but I have to admit I am a little surprised with the resale prices. I figured I would at least be able to make a few dollars on the summer weekend games, but after StubHub fees I'm lucky to break even on those. I am hoping to ride out the losses for a few years, but I have a feeling there will be a lot of turnover in Season Ticket owners again next year.
  14. Is anyone going to the Season Ticket Holder Rookie Open House? What exactly is it?
  15. Why do the rules of basketball completely change at the end of the game?
  16. Pretty good at bat, but still not a Major League player.
