    I know there is still time to turn it around, but what a disastrous season this has been for the White Sox so far, and Tim Anderson possibly being out for an extended period of time won't help.

    I kept thinking he reminded me of someone, but I couldn't figure out who. You nailed it though. Junior Lake is exactly who I was thinking of.

    This Mets/Giants game is nuts. The Giants had an 8-2 lead at one point, then the Mets scored 7 runs in the 8th to take an 11-8 lead. The Giants came right back in the bottom off the 8th and tied the game on a Joc Pederson home run (his 3rd of the game). The teams have a combined 22 runs and 33 hits so far.

    Grace is working with Bally Sports in AZ. Unless he was just a postgame guest after one of the games last weekend. Yeah, but a few years ago he was sharing time between the Dbacks and Cubs. Then he called his ex wife a dingbat on air and was otherwise not positively received, but I never heard anything about Marquee cutting ties with him. Of course they may have just quietly not renewed his contact.

    Unfortunately I suspect Rivas will be heading back to Iowa soon. I like him a lot and would like to see him get an extended opportunity, but right now he is taking too many pitches and striking out too much.

    The better question is how is Ortega a better option to pinch hit than Rivas? Especially when Rivas is going to have to come in to play 1B anyway. I guess it doesn't matter when the pitchers can't throw strikes.

    The entire team being bad offensively has taken the attention away from how terrible Heyward still is. But considering there are no other options, what else can you do except continue to run him out there?

    Which I'm unable to get right now. "There was an error. Please try later." And on top of that, Apple TV doesn't even have an app on Android devices. And they want people to pay for the service in the future? This is annoying.

    Trade Happ and pay Willson. There's no reason he can't continue to put up good numbers for another 4-5 years, especially managing his catching workload with DH starts.
