  1. Drunk enough that they should have known to pull the plug on that interview before it happened. Sent from my Pixel 6 using Tapatalk
  2. Get drunk Jim Belushi off the air. Sent from my Pixel 6 using Tapatalk
  3. They're up 7 runs, Steele was under 70 pitches, and 7-8-9 is due up, I think we can be okay with him going out there It's just an unnecessary risk to a guy who hasn't pitched much this spring. It worked out, but it's early to be stretching guys out. Sent from my Pixel 6 using Tapatalk
  4. David Ross at his finest. Always has to keep the pitcher in just a bit too long. Sent from my Pixel 6 using Tapatalk
  5. Haven't you heard? Heyward has 3 hits already! Sent from my Pixel 6 using Tapatalk
  6. Agreed. Take 4 scoreless and turn it over to the 9 man pen. Sent from my Pixel 6 using Tapatalk
  7. I thought it was Wick, but apparently not. We're about to find out!
  8. Nice. But are you sure we're allowed to have relievers that throw 95?
  9. Kind of surprising they gave Happ something to hit there with Schwindel on deck.
  10. Damn, nice play. I thought for sure that one was dropping.
  11. First-pitch sac fly. Wisdom 1, Irrelevant Dude 0! Make that 0 for 2. Combined with my Heyward take, 0 for 3. I'll take it!
  12. Setup perfectly for the Wisdom K followed by a Hoerner DP. Prove me wrong!
  13. 5 innings pitched, 1 run. That's a solid effort from Hendricks to start the season. Let's not get cute and run him back out for the 6th inning though. 75 pitches is plenty for game 1.
  14. More than a couple decades even... Durham, Grace, Lee, Rizzo
  15. Looks like Schwindel had a play at home rather than trying to spin and go to 2nd.
  16. It is absolutely insane that he is only 32 years old. It's like his career trajectory is 6-7 years ahead of the normal aging curve.
  17. The Cubs are playing this game under protest of the DH rule, batting their pitcher 7th.
  18. I know it isn't surprising that Heyward is starting, but it is still disappointing to purposely handicap the lineup from the start. Rivas at 1B, Schwindel at DH, and Ortega in CF would be a better choice both offensively and defensively.
  19. o/u his OPS being 700 this year? Definitely under.
  20. I was looking into MiLB.TV last night, but it's actually $49.99 for the full season and I couldn't justify that. Sent from my Pixel 6 using Tapatalk
