  1. This sucks.
  2. I'm getting up and trying to nab the 4 best available seats I can. Another buddy is getting up and trying to get whatever he can get his hands on. If all goes well, he sells his tickets on stubhub, and we split the cash and get paid to sit in some nice seats.
  3. We'd be stupid to not even explore the option. Depending on what he's willing to sign for, he could be an absolutely fantastic addition. It would essentially require playing Pie everyday Bonds is in the lineup, just to cover the spare ground... but that's not really a bad thing either.
  4. Dear God... this game has been fantastic. Ups, downs, Geovany Soto.
  5. DLee grounds to short. Sanchez muffs the throw from Kata trying to turn the DP. Runners on 1st and 2nd, one out.
  6. Yeah weis. Just search for the player and then click on the dropdown box for his splits.
  7. Eyre has a sub 1.00 ERA in the 2nd half.
  8. I think Lou was just more concerned with bringing in a right handed bat. And Cedeno is the best one we have on the bench today (except for maybe Kendall... and we're not about to use him this early.)
  9. Maholm out, Franquelis Osoria in.
  10. You're going to procreate? Congratulations! I deserve that Somebody had to make a joke.
  11. You're going to procreate? Congratulations!
  12. You have to be freaking kidding me.
  13. Has he really been hit that hard? I'm not watching the game but anyone who allows Nyjer Morgan to go 2-2 and for Izzy to hit a double can't be pitching well. Monroe dove at and dropped the Izzy double... Jacque or Pie would have caught it in the air.
  14. He's thrown out 3 of 9 attempted basestealers, compared to Kendall's 5 of 55. Soto profiled as a catch-and-throw backup before his big season this year. I don't know why people get surprised he can play good defense. Edit: Soto is 3 for 11 actually. Whoops.
  15. Pie and Jacque are horrible against LHP. Lou made the right call. Now that we're up early, though, I would have liked to see Pie get in. His defense is light-years better, and he could use the ABs vs. southpaws.
