    Apparently there is some rumor that the Burnett signing is all but imminent. The signing level has been raised to Orange. I don't know how valid it is though. Also I am VERY excited about the reported 4 year contract the Royals offered Jacque Jones. I normally don't bring prayer into baseball, but if Jones doesn't go somewhere else let's just say my faith will be shaken.

    It was a photoshop job. How do you know that? Look at the pic closer. If it were on tv the video would be floating around. So, maybe it wasn't taken off of video. Thousands of people have taken still cameras to games. I'm pretty sure that was a real picture. Are you really basing your Edmonds is gay argument on a picture of him patting somebody after a homerun? When he has 2 kids and one on the way?

    They've been really aggressive on the boards, and the fouls reflect that, but it's worked so far: rebounds 36-27 Bulls. Tyson leads with 12. Bulls only 4-7 from the line though. It's kind of a weird game. Bulls leading scorers are Deng, Gordon, Harrington, and Hinrich w/9. A bunch more with 8 and 7. 70-64 Bulls w/3 to go in the 3rd.

    Just a quick point: I never thought the Cards would get Giles. WJ doesn't like to sign long-term FA contracts. He just doesn't do it often. He'll get his OF'er through a trade involving Marquis and/or Wainright or another pitching prospect. I could see him maybe oversigning for Burnett just because Tony and Duncan have been lobbying for power arm for a while now, but I just don't see them paying for Giles. He'll pull of yet another trade that no one saw coming.

    Just curious, but why do so many people not want him back? With so much money allocated to the pen, the need to still sign a SS and get a solid innings eating bottom of the rotation guy, who would you want that you could afford?

    I think it's pretty fair, but I'd still vote against it out of spit for the guy in first.

    Isnt there a team already occupying Boston? Guess not... Yeah I can't think of a worse idea. There isn't a fan base less likely to embrace a second team. They'd get 2000 people a game until the cross town interleague series which would sell out.

    Mulder rakes in the ladies. He is a legend in the Scottsdale night scene. I'm sure most of them are well endowed in the "chestal region" anyways.

    Pick 3: Torry Holt vs AZ Keenan McCardell vs BF Joe Horn vs NE Muhsin Muhammed vs CA Antonio Bryant vs MI Right now I'm definite with Holt, pretty sure with Moose just because of the revenge factor, but the rest are sketchy. Buffalo is tough defensively, but is in San Diego. Joe Horn historically is good vs. the Pats, but still...
