  1. OH MY GOD NONE OF THIS MATTERS.
  2. I believe he was the scouting director for the Indians. Not a bad model to copy.
  3. http://www.topdrawersoccer.com/articles.aspx?Article=2327 Cool article about the youth soccer academy Brad Friedel opened in Cleveland.
  4. Seriously. I mean, only if you seriously want to win.
  5. Ok, are we talking about where we played when we last played because that would be left back for me, but in reality if we are fielding a best 11, I should probably be the equipment manager. I stopped playing when I moved to a high school that didn't have a soccer team my Sophomore year.
  6. ASU's schedule is so easy it is ridiculous. It's cool to be ranked, but I'm not going to feel all that good about their legitimacy until after they play Oregon on the road in November. Cal at home the week before will be a good test, but Oregon is the only ranked road game on their schedule (unless UCLA makes it back into the top 25).
  7. Boomshakalaka. Worst to first, son.
  8. I met Bob Howry Sr. at church today and told him I was looking forward to meeting his son by mid October at the latest.
  9. Hopefully they don't (go Illini).
  10. I suppose I could bump every thread ever accusing the Cardinals of being lucky, but that would knock every thread off the first two pages. What's it like to have haters, guys? You should just enjoy it and keep rolling with the luck.
  11. Not true. My Sun Devils have none. 12. If we say let's compare Dunn with A Rod then he does. would I want him on my team? Ya But he did insult our grounds crew so probably not Wow, great analysis. If you compare almost anyone to ARod they look bad, seeing as he's the best player in the game. and that was the point, I am not a big believer in Adam Dunn. I believe if we are going to waste 100 million on a person let's waste 130 for ARod and not for a strike-out king like Dunn. or we could not waste money Arod's going for a bit more than 130.
  13. He's developing... Also, a friendly vs South Africa has been scheduled:
  14. Everton drew AT HOME to FC Metalist Kharkiv who had two players sent off in the 71' and 80' and Everton also MISSED TWO PK'S thus ruining my FIVE TEAM PARLAY OF UEFA CUP GIMME'S. Tottenham, Villarreal, Bayern and Atletico all held up their end's of the bargain. Retards.
  15. As a fair weathered Blackhawks fan, I know exactly what your talking about. We actually still consider the Blues a rival too I think Heh, that's still a rivalry, but more of a who can lose more games and get the lowest pick kind of lottery. We won two years ago, but last year you got us. Touche, Hawks.
  16. That would be sweet. I saw that thing sold out all 60,000+ seats in like 40 minutes.
  17. No way to defend it without giving up a free kick. I do like the dude in the first clip that just kicks him in the chest.
  18. Which he will. It's what he's always done.
  19. By not giving him long term contracts.
  20. It will be Jose Oquendo. Long shot candidates being Will Clark, Larry Walker or Mike Matheny.
  21. Screw the Wings. You know what really feels weird? Being in a bitter, bitter rivalry that is so one sided, that the other team barely realizes it is a rivalry. Oh well. The Blues should compete for a playoff spot this year. Good D, solid goaltending and hopefully a rejuvenated Rucinsky, Tkachuk and Kariya with a developing Stempniak-McClement-Backes line and the always solid Doug Weight. http://images.usatoday.com/sports/hockey/_photos/2006-06-24-johnson2-fr.jpg
  22. Their last 2 games against the Phillies were without Pujols, and somehow they got both games into extra innings and won 1 of them. Here are the two lineups: Tuesday Taguchi Ryan Cairo Spezio Ankiel Molina Scumaker Wellemeyer Barden Wednesday Eckstein Taguchi Ankiel Spiezio Cairo Schumaker Molina Wainwright Miles Yeah, those are pretty bad. I think we have to hope that the Cardinals take 1 from Milwaukee. That lineup might be able to win 1 of 4 vs. the Royals, if they had a healthy Chris Carpenter on the mound. Anytime you have red beard at cleanup, you're in trouble. However, they did take one from the Phillies who have a better overall lineup than the Brewers. Seriously, that lineup is worse than our AA lineup.
  23. He started slicking his hair back.
