    No it's not. thanks for the insight Brand had already come off of back-to-back 20 ppg/10rpg seasons at ages 20 and 21. He was very clearly an all-star in the making. He was a former number one overall pick who should have been the franchise cornerstone for years to come. LaMarcus Aldridge was a 21 year old who was just coming out of college where he didn't have as good a career as Brand's at Duke let alone an impressive NBA pedigree already. His rookie year he put up 9 ppg/5 rpg/ 1 bpg (Brand's a year younger: 20/10/1). Tyrus Thomas, a year younger than Aldridge with significantly less playing time (10 minutes less per game) and much further down the ladder, as an offensive option averaged 5/4/1. Tyson Chandler was an unproven high school student. It was obviously a salary issue as well as Krause buying his career some time by falling back on the youth excuse. It is a bad comparison on so many levels that I didn't think I needed to expound. Apparently I did.

    What a retardedly good deal for the Bulls that would be. I know. I had to ask myself if I heard correctly. Bulls steal Kobe away, though the Lakers do save face a bit with that deal. Not championship material, but become much stronger defensively for sure. Kings, I don't know. Well, they mentioned that the Kings wanted Gordon as a point guard. Why, I dont know, but thats what Bucher said. Anyways, not sure when it happens, but I feel very confident the Bulls get Kobe by the weekend. Wait, so we get Kobe and plus keep Hinrich, Tyrus, Noc, Deng??? That can't be right. And the Lakers only get Artest and Wallace? That would be a disaster. Can't be. This is becoming a huge rumor tornado. UNLESS THE BULLS SIGNED PJ BROWN TODAY WITHOUT ME NOTICING, THEY CANNOT TRADE HIM. HE IS AN UNRESTRICTED FREE AGENT (for about the third time this thread).

    Me likey. OH MAN ME TOO Kirk is not a deal breaker by any means, but I love him. He is, as you said, underrated, impossible to replace this season and to top it off, I'd have to get a new photobucket account name.

    I don't like that fact that it seems like Jeff Luhnow's position in the organization is dictating so much of this. I don't like the set up one bit where he (luhnow) is apparently DeWitt's special little guy. I don't blame Antonetti for having his reservations. I'm very disappointed for now because it seems like a change in philosophy is not going to happen. They will probably continue to draft on the cheap and sign players on the cheap. Hopefully I'm wrong.

    I really hope the Lakers panic and give Kobe to the Bulls for something less than they realistically should. contracts, etc. it's just not that easy It is that easy if they are dumb enough to get Ben Wallace involved.

    Benfica up to second in the table, still well behind Porto. I think they are like 5 points up with a game in hand. Freddy has 3 goals in 163 minutes. It's getting to the point where they have to be running out of reasons to not start him.

    Westbrook, Moss and Welker were good. Pennington, Miller, Peterson and Johnson were not. I've got a chance.

    And Fabregas just came up with the equalizer in the 80th minute. 1-1 now. He and they are unbelievable.

    That game was great and the atmosphere was awesome, but the 5 minute stoppages in action for challenges and various blown calls were ridiculous. BTW Raisin, I'm taking the Rose Bowl by storm in two weeks. The company I work for is a huge ASU booster so we have a charter to LA, a hotel and tickets to the game. All for free.

    If the Lakers could be talked down to that, the Bulls would be getting away with murder. and would have no center Ben Wallace's contract is awful, awful, awful and again, awful. The way he is deteriorating he can't be classified as a center anymore anyway. We involve him and LA gets a legit name in the package to spice it up, someone to (theoretically) guard Stat, Duncan, Boozer, Brand and other big dudes, we'd get rid of his dumb contract, also including BW is the only way to get the $ to match up without having to send ridiculous amounts of cash to LA and paying a HUGE luxury tax. By the way everyone, PJ Brown is not a Bull. He is an UFA.

    Why wouldn't you give them Deng? They are going to absolutely want him as the center piece. Dude can't dribble, can't create his own shot without moving off a screen and doesn't have the range to make that skill set work as a premier player. I'm not saying he isn't good, he is, I just don't think he is by any means untouchable in a deal for the best basketball player in the world.
