    I just bet on an MLS game. What is my life coming to? Come on Houston for the win! if it were legal, where would you hypothetically be betting on-line? Yes, and I would hypothetically have just won some cash on the easiest, most predictable bet ever: Houston vs Los Angeles and if Houston wins they clinch a playoff berth and regain first in the west. No way the Galaxy was going to be able to stop that.

    I'm very glad that Arizona State and Illinois are worth watching this year. Especially considering what the Rams and Cardinals are doing to me.

    If it were legal, I would have just placed my first wager on a soccer match ever. Again, if it were legal, there would only be one game currently available to still bet on in England. That would be New Castle v Derby County. If I was going to place a bet on this game, I would bet 20 dollars that there would be more than 2.5 goals total.

    Not that I want to dwell on it because it would be getting my hopes up for no reason, but who would get benched once Altidore got called up permanently? We would be very stacked, that's for sure.

    There are a lot of people in the US soccer community that are ill informed. You'd think it wouldn't be the case, really. Yeah, because of the underground nature of soccer coverage in the US, fans and analysts are usually pretty informed. Here are some topics they touched on: Oguchi Onyewu might not be the player everyone thought he could be. Rossi is really talented and from the US but not playing for them. Bradley and Onyewu sometimes are too physical. Did you know this Bradley kid is the coach's son?! Landon Donovan isn't the most clutch player ever. They were discussing all this like it was breaking news.

    Has anybody here ever seen the show "American Soccer" on GOLTV? Are they completely [expletive] and out of the loop or what? That was the lamest show I've ever seen. They were talking about Guisseppi Rossi like the only reason he wasn't playing for the US was because Arena didn't reach out to him and the Bradley should "recruit" him.

    Are you kidding? Lou is like their 4th guy. Corso, Herbstreit and May all outrank him, in years at the network and in talk time. I'm not disputing that Lou sounds like a moron, but he's not the lead guy. Not even close. I said lead studio guy. Those other guys are always on location somewhere.
