I believe they are only a region but have strong regional pride or something. This is why they are governed by Spain's Football Assoc and the reason the FA cancelled the game is because they didn't want the Catalan team to wear out any players that they wanted to call up to the Spanish team.

I agree. I also enjoy seeing Michigan completely falling out of the top 25. if Michigan really kill Oregon, I can see the stupid voters bringing them right back to the low teens again Dixon is going to be even harder to handle than that dude from A State. Michigan is going down again.

Haha, I started a thread exactly like this at Gateway Redbirds last year. I was really frustrated with band aid crap signings like Weaver (basically the same thing I'm still frustrated with) and I went as far as saying that I wouldn't mind missing the playoffs to teach the front office a lesson. Would this year's team be better if we had missed the playoffs? Probably, but I would've missed out on the single sweetest experience in my sports fandom life. Obviously odds are, lightning can't strike twice, but I want the Cardinals to make it again this year even if we stand no chance. -
Jesus Christ, I wasn't indicting every Cubs fan everywhere; just the ones in this thread who are unnecessarily villifying Zambrano. If Carpenter was in the same situation, I'm sure there would be some Cardinals fans doing the same thing, and I would say the same thing I said here.

So, wait... Now NSBB doesn't like Zambrano because of a bad month and a dumb comment? What? Some of you have the emotional level consistency of an elevator. I know playoff chases are kind of novel to Cubs fans, but this isn't a big deal and certainly not worth villifying a fantastic player over.
