    Freaking weird run for the Cardinals. Hancock, Carpenter debacle, Rolen's shoulder, LaRussa's DUI, rumors of infighting between Jocketty and ownership, Rick Ankiel making it to the big leagues, Albert's awful start, winning the world series with a crap team, etc. Just a lot of weird stuff.

    No specifics, just on Restricted List for banned substances. Sounds like a drug addiction, but this is just speculation. Apparently he came forward to the club, asked for help and went on the RL.

    You answered your own question. It's pretty obvious that they're having enough trouble finding room for the first Matt Murton on the team. The point is that given the alternative (pagan) this shouldn't be the case.

    Oooo, I like this move for Benny. Me also. It doesn't appear that Hamburg's enthusiasm for Benny has jumped like it should, so they should get rid of him. It would appear the mid to low tier premiership teams are finally realizing that Americans give you so much more ability for their $ than any other players in the world. This is going to be the trend from here on out I would think. About time people caught on.

    Thinking that he would help you guys take the weak division or in the hope an extension would be worked out? Extension. He is undervalued so much that I think we could get him for somewhere in the 6 year 65-70 million range which would be awfully good. Rasmus, Duncan, Dunn and Pujols would be a good foundation to build on post-Edmonds and Rolen.

    If the Cardinals had a chance to claim Adam Dunn and didn't, I would annoy a lot of people with the gigantic amount of whining I would do.

    What's most exciting is that I'm legitimately already anticipating possible snubs that I'm going to be really pissed about for the Confed and World Cup rosters. Last year was pretty weak. Try as I might, I couldn't get myself too worked up over who was more deserving between Ching, Twellman and McBride. The fact that we are going to have legitimate position battles between world class players is going to be awesome.

    I was noticing this last night. He is awkward and unentertaining, but he doesn't spew ridiculous crap like Steve Phillips, Jeff Brantley and Joe Morgan. He generally stays within himself and doesn't act like an expert. Other than this, he was fine: Yes, Dusty. Maybe one day in last November he will finally win a (gold)en glove and complete that part of his game. The golden glove part.

    but maybe still funny? just a little bit? i guess i'd put a bag of urine a very, very short rung above D batteries. And a step above feces and "mysterious acidic substance that burned Eddie Lewis". Fun story: I got hit with a 9v battery during a high school game. Hurt like hell. All of these a few steps above road flares. Seriously, any of this crap that retards like Jim Rome get off on to give soccer a bad name needs to stop.
