In my opinion it is worth it for the awesome tailgating. I went to several games last year without tickets and had an absolute blast. The DeVry deal is the epitome of convenient, but you can't do it for weekday games, so that kind of sucks. Sometimes when I don't want to hang around and bar hop after games I will just drive and park in one of the numerous lots in the neighborhood, and if you are with a few people the price isn't really that bad. Also I have parked in Oak Park on a side street near the green line (not sure about the legality of that, but I have never been ticketed) taken the train downtown, hopped on either the brown of the red and that worked out rather well. The bottom line is that getting to the park isn't exactly the easiest thing in the world, but there are plenty of options.
