some of you guys need to take a sociology class or something. you can't put ALL of the blame on the individual for his wrongdoings or mistakes. to navigator: i don't see how you can't support cases such as Hamilton's. yes, he obviously made crucial mistakes. however, to say that we should be praising guys who "do it the right way" is a bit much, i think. Hamilton has overcame more in his short career than many baseball players will overcome in their lifetimes. why wouldn't i casually root for someone like Hamilton? i'll root for him just like i root for any other recovering addict -- i don't see why they should be pushed aside for the "good guys".

Walks are bad, Carlos is good. He has the ability to walk a lot of people and still be extremely successful. It's a problem, but he'll be just fine. if his bb/9 is 2006 was an aberration, i think he will be fine. if it isn't, then he is going to have a hard time.

Not so much a bad call. He was great in spring and showed improvement. I'm sure Lou will pound into him not to be so aggresive with 2 balls. If he is to get better, he needs to be in those game situations and learn from them. it was a bad call. his decision to replace murton with theriot was a bad call, too.
