    Barring a collapse, we will have to trade up to get an impact pass rushing DL in this draft. Obviously these rankings are fluid, but the 1st round appears to e flush with OL's and CB's. EDIT: Unless you're willing to role the dice on a 3-4 type LB and put him at DE, but...ya' know....Shea...so that doesn't seem like a good idea in Tucker's scheme. Then again, Tucker might not be here next season. I'd be interested in trying to hire Bowles away from AZ. Guenther from Cinci. Austin from Detroit.

    Without pressure, it was basically 7-on-7 for Rodgers against that zone. The few blitzes called were incredibly predictable and easily picked up. Some creativity was needed. Yup. You might as well blitz rather than letting him sit back there with a perfectly clean pocket. Even if he is perfect against the blitz you don't lose anything inasmuch as he killed us even when we dropped 7 back.

    Waiting for the meatballs to blame Jay for this. You don't beat Aaron Rodgers with literally zero pass rush. I mean would it have killed Mel to blitz LB's on passing downs?

    I think Leddy is the trade bait here to package with Versteeg. I'd bet they wind up with the Islanders. Rundblad replaces him on the 3rd pairing. I like Leddy and he can do things as a D man that aren't easy to find, but he's going to get a hefty raise in a couple of years and be making somewhere between 3.5 and 4.0 million. He spends large stretches in Q's doghouse (rightly or wrongly). Johns and Clendening are coming up behind him. It makes sense that he would be the most valuable trade commodity.

    Fuller is the sexiest guy to hit town since Soto. I'm looking fwd to seeing Sutton's grade. Based on the eye test he looked great last night.

    I can't recall the last time there were this many moves on and off the practice squad and waiver wire this early in the season. Not criticizing; just observing.

    Ratliff is a concussion. Shouldn't be too much to overcome. I'd imagine a good chance to play Monday, if not, he won't miss more than that game. Conte worries me because it's the same shoulder. Really troubling that both he and Tillman appeared to suffer the same injuries they had last year. I've heard some conflicting reports this morning about which shoulder Conte injured. It has to be his left, because he did a body-bump with someone (Fuller, IIRC) after the game last night using his right side.
