  1. I get the feeling Mel Tucker is just hoping something...anything...good happens. He has no idea how to scheme a blitz.
  2. Jesus, CONTAIN him, Jennings!!!!
  3. I think Trestman just gave the line judge the finger
  4. If a Packer made that pick it would be upheld
  5. I don't think that word means what you think it means. I spelled it incorrectly, but point is that you often seem to be "contrary for the sake of being contrary". Now back to the game... [expletive] block in the back...
  6. Jesus we have no chance against mobile QB's
  7. Lol that would have been an awesome grab. It was six inches above his head and he prob has a 25-30 inch vertical.
  8. ST isn't a big deal and is fine. I've been screaming about the ST since July, and many of you have told me to stop over reacting. Congrats I'm not that correct very often, so thanks. Congrats to you on still being contrarion, after all these years...
  9. And Alshon should have that one
  10. Marshall should have had that one

  12. Play clock should have. That might have made a bit of difference.
  13. Don't bother overturning And please cut Droughn
  14. They just lost to Buffalo, whom no on even remembers the last time they were good, and they're about to get humiliated on national TV I just think its an interesting reaction. Most of these guys give you the ol' "Its only one game of 16" line. These guys are acting like they will get canned if it doesn't turn around quickly. In Tucker's case that's probably true.
  15. The owners just hired Robert Mueller to conduct an investigation into the NFL's handling of the case, and presumably whether anyone in the League office saw the tape. Apparently Mueller will report to Mara and Rooney. Load of bull [expletive].
  16. Sounds like the coaching staff is pissed.
  17. That's pretty crappy of Briggs to say publicly, assuming it is true.
  18. FYI, they don't get to play the Giants 16 times. They do get the Bears twice over the next 15 games.
  19. SF 35 - Bears 21 I can't get behind this team after their showing last week. Undisciplined or flat-out poor play at LB kills you in a league where the read option and passing game have become offensive staples. Kapernick is certainly capable of showing us both. On offense I'd like to see us run the ball more and keep Jay at about 30 pass attempts. SF couldn't stop DeMarco Murray (or Lance Dunbar for that matter) at all last week and it might have cost them had Romo not looked like a later-day Rex Grossman. That said, we don't seem comfortable giving Forte 20-25 carries and his back-ups are lucky to see the field. If you are going to limit Jay's throws Carey needs to get the ball 7-10 times. Taking this approach might also serve to limit Kapernick's time on the field.
  20. Pleaaaaaaaase Note the tweet only says the NFL knew about the video, not that they actually viewed it. I think all he's saying is that the NFL knew the video existed, and if so, it's hardly earth shattering news, cause you know, it happened in a casino where there are cameras every square feet. But there's still no evidence they actually viewed the video. So they are grossly negligent and willfully ignorant rather than being outright liars
  21. I don't get why he was penalized. The punter goes down to make the tackle and - instead of going around - Brown opted to jump over him and wound kicking him in the face. Was it obviously intentional and I missed it?
  22. The Rice video was strategically leaked, IMO, in order to press the Ravens into releasing him. There isn't any other logical reason to hold it back. Basically "they" (whoever that is) gave the NFL and the Ravens the chance to do the right thing, and when they didn't and Rice was on the verge of being reinstated, they dropped the bomb.
